Dear dear Sonya. Please do not stop creating content. We are stuck at home, day after day, frightened for our very lives. Hi Sonya, I am from a muslim father and a christian mother, grew up in France. Young kids from my generation (I am 48) were getting along just fine, whatever backgrounds or religious heritage we had. My mother would let me for a couple of hours at a neighbour who was a sepharade Jew from Algeria. Your videos are reminiscing that time as she was preparing shabat while taking care of me. The arab kids would never have a single antisemitic thought at that time, and our parents would never allow us to do so. Now, a whole youth is bathing in a whole tank of hatred for Jews. I believe the two people can coexist, because we did. What happened ? This is era is paradoxical, in its try to fight hatred, but opening the door of resentment that leads to other kind of hatred. I feel horrified to what happened in Israel, all I can do is to express my empathy, and pray for the healing of those who survived yet who will have to go through a heavy mourning. Take care Sonya, and keep on what you do, sharing, and showing that your own beliefs are nothing but Peace.

Such a beautiful message, please know that Jews have no hatred for Muslims, have no interest in anything but peace and coexistence. Your message is beautiful and as a Jewish Israeli I appreciate it very much. Globally, the younger generation is so consumed in this hate and very much misinformed, it's just so unbelievable. I agree, it is possible to coexist, as long as we distance ourselves from terrorists who's only objective is to kill and spread their hate. We should not let these people dictate our future, in which we, the peaceful people, hope for our next generations. And to you sweet Sonia, you are such a beautiful soul, I could hear your voice breaking in the beginning of the video, Thank you for your prayers and your uplifting videos.

My prayers, my strength, and my heart are all with you, people of Israel. ❤ The Bible is filled with promises that God will not forsake you, even though it can seem like that for a moment. Psalm 89 (past, present and future hope), Isaiah 54 (future, beautiful hope). His shalom, however, we can have even now. The guarantee of what we have in store, being with Him forever. Be blessed. I found your channel one evening last week, and have been coming back to watch your videos ever since. You have been a blessing and an inspiration to me. Thank you. My heart has been so heavily burdened for Israel, and for all the Jewish people worldwide. Since finding your channel, I have been including you and yours in my prayers, as well. It's unimaginable, the things that have happened, and what makes it worse is that there seems to be so much hatred everywhere. I never realized just how much until this happened, and seeing all the antisemitism happening right here in America. It's heartbreaking. Praying for peace. May Adonai's blessings be upon you and your family.

PA girl here. Born and raised in NYC. The best thing you can do is to keep your home a place of peace and harmony. You make your bread, keep Shabbat, love the kiddos and your husband. In these times your Christian sisters are here for you.🙏🙏

Sonya, I want you to know the Jewish people in Israel and in America are dearly loved by many, many Christians. Our hearts have been broken all week. There are prayers going up in many prayer gatherings. We understand that the land of Israel was given to Abraham in a very special covenant. Please know that you are very much loved and prayed for!!! Sonya, this was the first video in a week to uplift me and take me out of the depths of worry and fear, which becomes very unproductive. Thank you, it is beautiful and completely appropriate. My rabbi said we are still allowed to go on with our lives and even celebrate special occasions in a modest way, while we pray for Am Yisrael Chai. You are doing a huge mitzvah here, showing Jewish women how they can pray as they make challah (of course welcoming all faiths, and men or women, to bake!). It's so nice to see how you manage to do so much, with a smile and humor always - I know if you're doing this after the kids are asleep that you are baking well into the night yet ready to take care of everyone's children at school as a nurse by the next morning! Your videos are so enjoyable, it's great how you show how efficient you are in making so many things at once (with koach!), I am the same. I love the Beis Yaakov cookbook as well - try the lemon biscotti ; ) I use the fabulous Kosher By Design cookbooks too. Sending ahava and brachot, Hazak!

I am catholic my wife is Jewish. However she had a troubled upbringing. In college we met I studied math and one of my professor a brilliant Jewish man taught some of my favorite math classes. When I met my wife the next semester I urged her to take this Jewish women’s study class he was teaching. He would officiated our wedding When we have kids we will raise them to be Jewish, I think of the story of Ruth… “and her god becomes my god. Her family becomes mine“ We agreed that we will answer any of their questions they have about Christianity or Catholicism. I pray every day that my wife and her people are safe. I pray for the Palestinian people. I pray for Israel . I pray that our leaders make real systemic changes, to a fair free charitable and equitable world. I know she feels lost like she never really had a traditional connection to her Jewish roots but she is proud. She is wants to start making challah to feel that connection. As a Goy-band I love my Jewish American Princess. I would do anything to make feel her supported and loved. I would do anything to stand up for her rights and the rights of my future children. It is chilling and terrifying the climate we live in especially here in the American South. It’s not always as safe as you might think here. To all faiths and belief systems coexistence is possible agnostic atheists Buddhist Hindu Muslim Jewish Christian. Either you only believe In your self nothing everything or something.. we can still treat eachother with love understand and compassion.

Hello Sonya, I can't imagine the pain you must be feeling of what is happening in Israel. It's devastating, and horrible to see what hate can do! My church had 18 of our members trapped including our Episcopal priest and his wife was in Israel on a pilgrimage, they were only there a few days in, when the massacre, and fighting began. They where in Tel Aviv at the time. Luckily the tour group gathered them up and moved them north away from the fighting till they could get flights out, they were all finally able to fly out. Father Thack, and his wife was the last to fly out just as the airport was getting bombed. Although they are now safe, they are physically and mentally drained, and devastated to leave the people of Israel, and those that protected them behind to the unknown. Our church has done this yearly since 2010, and some had become friends with the owners of the tour company. I have the utmost respect for them to make sure our people were safe, instead of being with their families. My heart truly aches for Israel and its people! I pray for its people, and the pain they have endured, and will endure! I truly wish there was something I could say to make you feel better.....I will pray you find peace! Have a blessed day!

Sonya, I have prayed and will continue to do so for Israel and for the atrocities that happened to its people during the attack. I pray for the hostages and keep hope alive that they will be delivered out of the hands of their evil captors. I also pray for complete and utter victory for Israel over their enemies in the Middle East and all over the world. Thank you for all you do and blessings to you and your family.
