salam aleikum....i´m learning about islam and ramadan is always one of the subjects i feel "scared" about (thats not the correct word but i cant find a better way to put it), for someone that is new, the fasting feels like a huge task that is bound to fail (talking about me) i know ramadan is much more than the fasting of it, but i drink a lot of water during the day... and the only thought of not being able to do so, it´s scary ntgl... so whit all the due respect i ask: is only possible to celebate ramadan at all or nothing?... if i need to have water during the day, that means i ruined all the fasting of that day?.... a big "hi" from argentina

Walaikum salaam! As mentioned, I did not have a good Ramadan in my first year as a Muslim. I was only able to fast maybe 2 out of the 30 days. I thought the same as you, that I wouldn't be able to go an entire day without water. Eventually I became used to it. Fasting is a mental challenge, more than a physical one. It takes time to get your mind around the idea of fasting. All you can do is try your best and every Ramadan, try your best again. Allah rewards all efforts. May Allah make it easy for you!
