In this video I'm sharing the second part of the process - How I made a sword - and it is a piece I've done after a couple of years of not making any.
I used to make swords in a very different way, and this one came out pretty neat - and absolutely safe to use.
I've kept the first ones for myself (they ended up exhibited at mom's place - just like other "weapons" I've made so far), and I didn't want to sell them as I've tried to achieve a nice layer of rust by rubbing water with salt on them. It's cool - but you may understand my worries on selling that to someone.
However, now I wanted to make something that would look neat, with a decorated handle, unlike my first attempts with rope and fake leather around the grip.
It's not forged - just an iron bar grinded and sanded - but it's a sculpture, and this particular one also - a photo prop.
