36h seems to be average for this level of quality. Pretty decent imo. The only thing that seemed a bit rudimentary was the rig. It is said that it is only for basic posing, but if it is intended to do more poses with the same model i would still prefer using a full rig. It doesn't seem like a lot of effort after all this sculpting work.

Hello, here is a suggestion to make the prints take less time: orient the models so they are positioned in the shortest way from the baseplate. Resin printers take longer based on the number of layers they have to make(ignoring the cure time per layer), so you can reduce this by orienting the model in a way so it has the least amount of layers which would take less time. Also, thank you for taking in my suggestion for selling the 3D models themselves.
@Shannite
Жыл бұрын
That is how I originally oriented them, but then I got support marks on areas of importance like the face. When I sand away the support leftovers I also take away sculpted details. I decided to sacrifice time to save the important areas on the model eg: anywhere on the front, underbelly, face, and so on. Now supports are only on the backs of the legs, bottom of the tail and wings. Thank you for writing this comment, and you're exactly right, orientation is super important ^^

Hey Shannite! Just to let you know, I believe there's an app that can actually make the supports for you, so you don't have to make them all individually!
