Mr. Sinclair comes across as an honest individual, openly sharing business details. Perhaps his content lacks popularity because it's grounded in reality, focused on long-term plans, in contrast to the allure of "get rich in 7 days" videos that easily garner millions of views.

I’ve been doing e-commerce for 25 years and annoyingly James has nailed it in 4! These are the main beats to have a proper 7 or 8 figure e-commerce business - critically having the supply of your own brand goods is what makes the difference. Other key concepts of note: Google Shopping ads in particular for UK, selling into Europe (relatively easy even after Brexit), email and automation of email, great product photography (one are I think James stuff can work harder).
@JamesSinclairEntrepreneur

Oh yeah, we certainly need to work harder on photography. And make our websites better. Having 27 of them is the challenge. ( across all my companies ) we’re on course to bolster the team to get gem world class.

James! Great vid, but Party Pieces needs more info on the website. Even after Brexit, we've kept the Electronic Commerce Regulations. That means a vendor (you), is required to display in an easierly accessible location on the website - Business or trading name, address, email address, companies number on Companies House, and VAT number. I found the VAT, email and possibly the trading name for PP. But its copyrighted Teddy Tastic, which is really confusing. And no sign of the address or companies house info. Teddy tastic has address, VAT, but no sign of email or Companies House info. Might want to get your ecommerce manager to look at that 👍👍 I may be totally wrong (wouldn't be the first time) but that's my understanding for all ecommerce website.

I’m on Shopify and do a decent amount but they are far from perfect. The costs really do add up. For example, they take 1.6%+20p of all sales via shop pay, they’re headquartered in Canada so have funny rules about what you can and can’t sell, even if the product is completely legal in the UK and the monthly app subscriptions really do add up, such as apps for discounts, cookies, seo, product reviews, connections to eBay and Amazon etc. Another really important thing you forgot to mention is a mailing list. These are relatively cheap and convert really well. £200 for 50,000 emails is my current rate I think. Keep up the great content

Personally I wouldn't use shopify. Instead build a digital media agency starting off with a few developers and use that company for all your tech. Build up the company to several people and not just use it for your own companies but use it for other companies too. Before you know it it could be worth a few million sounds easy
