I'm kinda crazy so I actually like the old apricot farm but I still think that a factory would've been so much cooler for a game like hitman. Imagine the accident eliminations you could do with things like heavy machinery or maybe faulty guard rails like in dubai or mendoza. It sounds like a ton of fun!

unpopular opinion here but i actually really like Colorado, i am however not exactly the average type of player. I frequently create custom challenges for myself such as never using disguises on all hitman missions main and overwise ( including elusive targets ) , no items ect so i basically don't use disguises anymore which might be why Colorado feels like " just another day in the office " so to speak. I still really appreciate people asking these guides though for others who might struggle or veterans to learn something new. Great video as always :)

Great demonstration! I think you nailed the workarounds on what makes Colorado so hard: the many spots you can be seen that aren't obvious. Small windows, little holes on walls, etc.

I was one of those people who used to hate this map and getting through it was like trying to walk over broken glass, when it came to Sean Rose I had to learn every inch of the map just to kill him in each method pointed out in the challenges and I'm still struggling because I can't complete Suit Only, Silent Assassin without effing up 3 minutes into the level!

I scratched my head for a while, trying to figure out how to do this map SASO a while back. I ultimately decided on doing the perfect alibi challenge turned out quite a bit easier than I think it was supposed to be if you just stay concealed when you’re moving around and understand distraction shots it can make Colorado a lot easier.

I am one of those few who actually enjoys the map! I really dig the military setting, I also find this map very simple to learn because it is small and mostly flat and open. You really can't get lost on it. And while this map is indeed filled with guards and is quite challenging to move around if you are going for suit only, it has really strong disguises if you don't go for it. Pointman has access to 90% of the map and is allowed to carry sniper rifles (very useful for Freelancer), Militia guys have access around the farmhouse and most of the map too and hell even the Cook is allowed to carry guns, it's awesome. 4 targets is too many? For me more targets is more fun! There are plenty of opportunities for poison or accident kills, Ezra isolates himself all the time while Sean probably has the funniest story mission kills. Poor guy with his PTSD. I wish Dartmoor and the Bank had more targets in Story mode, glad they are good in Freelancer though. Just to compare, I hate Santa Fortuna much more than Colorado, because that map is too huge, Rico's mansion is overfilled with guards and houseworkers, Jorge's jungle area is god awful because of annoying and unrealiable bushes and of course all the targets on SF are extremely separated from each other.

Its not the take downs that are hard, its getting there that's what kills me most of the time. I did a kill everybody challenge here, was a good way to discover the map afterwards . But before that it was almost impossible to get inside the house suit only

Fair guide, not my favourite map 😆 but - the scarecrow wicker man challenge is possibly the best in the whole trilogy. part of the original challenge pack for colorado I think, so always worth doing once and saving after sniping the bells to pick up some of the more difficult challenges. 4 accident kills to 4 targets - easy, that more difficult target chick is the 1st victim. Can do stuff like no birds here with some morbid amusement. Everybody on the map burns including that dude in the basement torture chamber. But watch out - unconscious bodies seem immune to burning in a container. Was kind of fun on original release considering the whole map originally felt like a dud. It’s nice it remained

This mission is a complete joke, but then again the developers wanted to challenge us otherwise, it would be just like the rest of the other maps in the game. I always hated playing this level. There’s a shitload of guards that will surround you within seconds after you get caught, it’s that hard.

I really liked that Penelope kill for the guide portion of the video, wouldn't come up with it myself. I had an idea to lure her to the roof of the Barracks using a peekaboo lure, but it requires some preparations and isn't as smooth when doing a route with it. But this is why I love Colorado, the ways people find out about these possible kill methods for all the targets are really something impressive. So I guess I don't really like it for how it was made(however it still manages to have great item placement for no loadout runs), but more like what was done with it. That update for the exits since Hitman 2 really opened up the possible routing for this location, so it's clear now it had potential while being difficult. I think IO tried to do things they didn't manage to do here in Berlin, and also the impact of the reception to Colorado allowed Ambrose Island to be way more open for suit only, while retaining the oppressive atmosphere of having another militia outpost along with the pirates.

My review of this guide. I was nowhere near fast enough to kill Ezra Berg first as he left the basement but I got Penelope Graves exactly as the guide suggests medium difficulty. I made my way to where the watch blueprint is and peekabooed Maya Pavarti easy peasy. I went back to the house and caught Ezra Berg leaving the basement and killed him as the guide says medium difficulty. I went into the house and tried to kill Sean Rose by the clock but his guard would always respond to the peekaboo and pick up any coins. In the end, I peekabooed Sean from the same room but as he left his bedroom on the first floor. This way only he came to investigate and I got the kill. In conclusion, the guide on the actual kills in this are almost perfect but I still have no idea how to traverse the map nearly as fast and reliably as you can.

When I was still a noob attempting SASO on this map, I went for the cheap strategy where I snuck into the house with a lockpick, carefully knocked out every NPC in the basement and on the top floor, and just camped there for 30 minutes waiting for my targets, since all of them except for Maya come into the house at some point in their route, and you can shoot the haybale for Maya from the window in Sean's room. It was cheap as hell but I didn't know any better. I love videos like this, showing all of the strategies and tips that people might not be aware of. Peekaboo is such a broken mechanic, but I love it oh so much.
