In autumn 2022 I found this show and it helped me. A lot. I drifted away into HIMYM-New York and found something good again, although 2022 was fucking shit from beginning to end. Now I’m in a much better place mentally and I have big plans for the future. I even graduated. This show is full of amazing characters and is located in New York. i visited new york a couple weeks ago and it’s not as great as ppl make it out to be. The crime and homelessness rate is so high. I saw a dudes face get punched when getting mugged literally right outside the hotel. As well as we were gonna go in a sushi place and this possibly mentally ill man for no reason, runs up behind a woman and puts a knife by her face and screams to scare. Then he just runs off. @@ye_olemilkman5689 NYC has one of the lowest crime rates of all the major cities in the US. There is a homelessness problem, yes, but that’s everywhere, and LA’s is far worse when it comes to that; there are literal blocks upon blocks of homeless encampments there by comparison. Visiting is one thing, but living here is another. I’m not sure where you stayed, but if it was anywhere near the tourist trappy areas like Times Square, you’re probably more likely to see what you describe, though I personally never have. I’m still sorry you had to experience that though. I won’t lie, being here my whole life, I have a very love/hate relationship with NYC. Thing is though, after visiting other places, I don’t know anywhere quite like it. It’s such a unique city with an amazing amount of diversity when it comes to the people, places, landmarks, etc., I highly suggest giving it another chance. One visit really isn’t enough to fairly judge it; each borough alone is like a world of its own. I think that goes for anywhere, not just NYC, but I still think it’s worth mentioning. Cheers 🍻

This is a great behind the scenes look at the sets and I just love this show. I literally just finished the whole series and decided to start it right back over. Now I'm going into all the commentary and special features since I own The Complete Story box set. To me what really made this all work were all the remarkable dynamics. Great casting, fleshed out characters, bright performances complimented with the best writing and storytelling, appropriate song choices and pieces of music that captured the essence and tone of the darker and more dramatic scenes in beautiful, humanistic ways. It had its heavy-handed moments of weakness obviously, namely the final season and its execution and ending especially but that also opens up great replay opportunities to watch the show again from different perspectives and view the journey through a different lens. Perhaps even putting things in a different light all and all. We all know nothing is perfect but overall there's few series shot in such a unique time-jumping manner that lend themself so well in telling this story. It makes you laugh and cry and touches the heart, resonating so deeply with the personal touches that make this show truly shine. I used to love Seinfeld and watch it everyday, still a favorite of mine but this has really been cemented once again as one of my favorite shows of all time. Heart-felt and even heartbreaking in some moments but always accessible, real and so well grounded. Overall a truly wonderful piece of television.

Anyone notice though that the mother's apartment (hallway and exterior) were different in Season 6 when he goes with Cindy vs Season 9?

Nice, I don't know why I thought interior McClaren's and the exterior where the same set(maybe c'ause it's shot in different angles?) but found it very fun to see as I don't think I've seen this video before. And Josh Radnor really has the sweetest personality.

Remember that the Lord Jesus Christ died on a cross for you because He loves you so much. He then rose up from the dead three days later. The Ten Commandments are called the moral law, (most of us are lying thieving blasphemous adulterer at heart and deserve hell) you and I broke the law, Jesus paid the fine. That’s what happened on that cross. By believing that Jesus died on the cross and rose up from the dead 3 days later and not just confessing your sin, but also repenting of all sin you have done and putting all your trust in Him in prayer, He will grant you everlasting life as a free gift.

Still happy to FOX TV gives us memorials for HIMYM. One of the best actors and scenes which are unforgettable. That series I look, even when I have 22 y/o.

As much as I adore HIMYM, I read something about Josh Radnor that he was really emotionally affected by the role of playing Ted Mosby & being in the show & how it affected his life in a bad way. Being stressed & in sort of a depression & I look at that huge set up & I think I can imagine why. If they would of played in the real New York City it would have been less hard to handle all the ''fake'' of it but also it would have been impossible to film. When you look at this huge place made specifically for HIMYM, it feels like you are trapped in this fake world like Jim Carrey was trapped in his fabricated world in the movie The Truman Show. I'm not even there & I feel like suffocating to be in this place. Now imagine being there for years pretending to be someone else & having a huge amount of people coming to you & talk about the show & the character you play. I understand why he said he had a hard time separating himself from Ted.

@@cecilwhinter yeah he wants people to move on from seeing him as Ted. He got a lot of offers after Himym but he rejected because he didnt want to play the same kinda guy

@@indp8752 That's understandable. Personally I don't see him as Ted I see him as who he is, an actor & his own person. I like the character he played but I'm not associating his character as who he is. I think the problem is many people are not capable of doing this.
