I’m very glad to see your base, I’ve never used that much paint for a base, so this is interesting. I use 4 heavy scoops of liquitex a nearly the same Flo, and water.

I am just loving your art. You're easy to follow. Had a very small suggestion.. I sometimes will cut off just the round end of the stir stick. That way, it gets all the paint off the bottom. Kelly from ontario, canada

Erica, thank you for continuing to share your recipes. Many of the fluid artists that I watched in the past have taken their recipes off of their channels. I’ve been painting for a couple of years now but started to have issues my pm mediums. Thought I would revisit my subscriptions. Finally, you still had yours up. I love your art and truly appreciate you. ❤️❤️❤️

Erica, this was probably the best dutch pour paint mixing videos that I've watched. Each time yo showed the colour, it was crystal clear! You shouldn't be sorry for not having a set formula because people need to realize that it does not work for every colour due to the weight of the paint. The way you taught us is the best way and people need to gauge for themselves as they do it. Besides, it's frustrating as hell to measure everything. That's too much of a hassle. I love mixing my own customized colours like you did with the blue. In fact my favourite combo is blue and black. Such a beautiful colour to work with. Thank you.

Erica thank you so much for doing this how you mix your paints cuz I've had a big issue with a large canvas on the consistency of my face paint. And your video didn't have a number on it where you did two straight pores using several homemade colors like mint green turquoise phthalo blue now that was a bowl sorry this one here has magenta and primary copper and Persian blue I absolutely adore that painting it is just so stunning I love it. As all your videos your art speaks for itself it's amazing. Enjoy every minute watching you create the beautiful art that you do. I'm still curious about what size canvas you used on that double straight pour. Kudos to you and I'll be watching.😉🤩🥳👍👏👏🤲🙏🙏✌✌✌✌

Thank you so much I feel u are a wonderful teacher....I bought golden gel a long time ago and forgot what to do with it 😳....and you just cleared that up for me ....so my question is you use it to wet it with pigments just like I use josonja for blooms technique....so if I want to use pigments for Dutch pours or ring pours ect I would use the golden gel and then use flotrol & water as my medium & just make sure all my paints are the same consistency is that correct?

Hi Erica, thanks so much for the information. I am curious as the video seems to focus on Dutch pouring. Do you use the same consistency for your straight pours? I would assume your paint is a little thicker, but I didn’t see or hear anything specific in the video. I am also wondering if you have any issues with pushing the paint in a Dutch pour given that you are not putting the paint on top of a base paint. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, your painting is beautiful!
