I do this in logic with my live drums. I’ve got no front skin on my kick, so it’s very punchy. I’ve lately been pairing it with another kick that clearly has a front skin & resonance. It works.

how could I find good boom bap bass one shot sounds and drum one shots
@theycallmeheat

make them!! you might already have some. use guitar effects like distortion, eq, etc.

Could you explain when or why would one do full cut out in EQ ? ive see some cutting the lows but not highs, and sometimes they dont do the full cut out at all, so whats with that ? is it because if you dont see any frequencies on the spectrum, you dont have to do anything in that area?
@EetuHuovinen

And also i would like to know how to find and take out the bad frequencies.

Normally you would do a cut if a sound has lows that you can actually hear that don’t need to be there. Like let’s say the rumbling from a needle on the turntable. You cut the lows to remove that. And you want to clear the lows to make room in your mix for any bass sound.

I went to your website … I’m confused on the actual course and price. Also I don’t use FL but I think you still probably have good info I could use in other daws. I like your videos

@ScorpioCoaster hey, what’s the confusion? All the courses are pre-recorded so you can learna at your own pace. My courses are not DAW specific so any info you get from the courses can be used in ANY DAW. Let me know any questions you have
