If you don't make it through the whole video, the takeaway is that the struggle is real when moving abroad to a country where you don't speak the language, but SO WORTH IT!!!! I hope you enjoy a little insight into how I ended up on this side of the world. If you'd like me to make a video about moving to London, give this comment a like!

@@MissBeeTownsend You too! You're videos have been a lifesaver in learning how to style my hair, I've literally worn it in two styles my whole life because I could never get it to curl. Thanks to your amazing video about hot rollers(where you mention setting lotion), I was able to get a hot roller set and actually use it properly! Your videos(and you) are so very appreciated at my house. We love you Miss Bee and look forward to hearing from you and seeing what you do next on the other side of the world! :D

@Eva Faye, you’ll probably need a work visa to work in Ireland if you’re not European. Rent/houses are pretty expensive in the Dublin and surrounding areas. Housing is also in short supply right now. Bank accounts are pretty easy to set up though. I wouldn’t say it would be as difficult as moving to mainland Europe.

Amazing experiences!! This was so interesting. Thank you so much for sharing. I can relate to a lot of what you were talking about. I moved to 2 different foreign countries when I was a young mother of three. My husband at the time worked with people who spoke the same language. I on the other hand I had to learn to try and speak the language of the folks of that country. It was, as you said very hard. But I also have wonderful memories and my children learned the language and learned to respect other cultures, and see amazing iconic places. They went to school with children from all around the world. I love listening to you talk and share in your experiences. Thank you!! Love your look today!! Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family.

Wow, I imagine with children that must have been a difficult experience because you can't just focus on your own needs and trying to assimilate, they are of course the priority. But, isn't it amazing what a challenge like that can bring out in us? I'm glad it ended up being a good experience for you xx

Great video :) It was so interesting to listen to your story! I'd say just like with almost anything else - it won't be easy, but if you are determined and willing to work for it, it's definitely attainable. I moved on my own to the UK nearly three years ago and let me tell you that it was an adventure. I still have pictures of my old flat and the luggage I actually ended up moving with. It thought me two things: I can do anything I really set my mind on and also being far less attached to objects while still appreciating them, with the exception of memorabilia. For anyone else considering moving abroad: do your research, prepare (try not to move without savings or a back-up plan, especially if you'll need to provide for yourself) and do it. It might just turn out to be one of the best experiences of your life :)

This is sounding very familiar! I moved to Italy from Melbourne almost two years ago and it’s been the same for me, finding work, an apartment, language challenges (esp locals switching to English) and opening a bank account 😫. But totally worth it. And despite all the tricky stuff, way easier than getting a visa for your foreign partner to come to Aus.

@@MissBeeTownsend That makes perfect sense. Sometimes it’s easy to see things in hindsight. In the moment, we are sometimes full up with what we can process at that time! And, If you ever decide to make it to the US, I have an Aussie friend who works in US immigration 😄
