One of the most gracious things you can do is speak to someone in their native tongue. Even if you know only a few words, they truly appreciate that you are making the effort. Nate is right, even after more than 50 years I am still learning Spanish. Regards from Indiana!

Excellent video. First you had to make a lot of mistakes to get to speak Spanish without making almost any mistakes.

You have a good channel, I don’t know why you need to use click bait to try and get people to watch your videos. I haven’t watched this video because the title actually turned me off. Of course everyone makes mistakes when speaking a new language.

The title is sarcastic bruh, and he made it like that so people would click on it, and realize,” oh he wasn’t serious”. There’s nothing wrong with it. I see what you mean though

An example of one of my mistakes was saying “tengo mierda” instead of “tengo miedo”

A few years ago (very early in my Spanish learning) I was in Puerto Rico with my girlfriend and her family and we were in a tiny restaurant where the staff spoke very little English. I got us through most of the dinner in tentative Spanish, until it was time to leave and I wanted to tell the waitress that everything was fantastic. Not knowing how to say this, my best guess was “era excelente,” which the waitress misheard as “eres excelente” and got really smiley and thanked me as we left. It wasn’t until the next day when I told a Spanish-speaking friend about the encounter that I figured out that I had accidentally flirted with this Puerto Rican waitress in front of my girlfriend’s family

I once used "soledad" several times while telling a story. I thought it meant "sunshine" lol
