I'm a scrapbooker too but haven't done as much in the past few years. I have lots to catch up on. I've always loved paper, stationery, and stickers ever since I was a little girl. My mom & I scrapbooked together before she passed away 2-years ago at 90 years young. I have wonderful memories of us spending time together and I have her scrapbooks for my keepsake that I can pass on to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I think she would have loved Bible Journaling as well. The coming together of things that we love. All that to say...scrapbooking...YES!

Corner cupboard with triangular shape. On the bottom, I'd put a lazy susan pencil holder type of thing. I've seen a lazy susan device that is circular with a tube in the middle for pens, rulers, scissors). The area of the device surrounding the tube can hold the stapler, staples, paper clips, gluesticks, etc.

Rather than keep all of my scissors [large scissors, pinking shears, decorative scissors, detail scissors] in a cabinet behind a door, I hang them from 'S' hooks [Ace Hardware] from the edge of a wire shelf [The Container Store] at the back of my work station on my craft table. This shelf raises frequently used tools off my table. Meanwhile, I really like how you keep Diana to hand out on the counter! tfs!

I have followed you for awhile and you've inspired me. I'm a long time scrapbooker, digital scrapbooker and genealogy. I'm also a Bible nerd (thank you for the term). Here are some ideas that I've done. I have done my Bible studies by topic, book, character, word study, verse mapping, inductive, etc. Once I've done my study, I have made scrapbook pages of everything I've discovered. I add pictures, charts, maps, tables, that I find online. For instance I have done the book of Revelation and all the stuff I learned and my thoughts on it, I made into 12x12 pages and then put in book form on Shutterfly. I think Revelation (it took me 2 years) ended up being 4 volumes, LOL. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements and do it all digitally and then load them at Shutterfly and create the books and print. I have collected digital elements for 10 years now (all free) and have my computer very organized so I can find stuff. The resulting books are much easier to store as they aren't as bulky and bulgy as the paper scrapbooks I made back in the day. (BTW, my niece was in Miss SC pageant years ago and I used Barbie clothes as 3D elements on some of her pages. I made a book on her experience with that.) I have been asked to teach at church at times and each time I've tried to incorporate a different Bible study method with whatever I present. I usually end up passing around one of MY Bible study books I printed that exhibits the method I've used for the subject. For instance I did a 1 lesson study on the Exodus. I wanted to teach them historical context as well as what God did to get the Israelites out of Egypt. It was only 40 mins but I had it on the overhead and then passed my book around I had made and it had history, maps, photos of the area, background of Moses and Aaron and Pharoah. In just that short time I, of course, couldn't go over all the plagues but it was sort of an introduction to Exodus. Anyway, my scrapbooking has come in handy in those ways. I also make books for the grandnieces and grandnephews now that the nieces and nephews are grown and have families. For Wedding presents and graduation presents I would give them a printed scrapbook of them. I have done family genealogy books that include family recipes, maps, documents, old photos, photos of places (houses, where they worked, church, gravestones, etc), etc. My Mother's life was 5 volumes (of 110 pages each). I've done several for my MIL. I did two for my Dad and I'm not finished. I've done them for my sisters. I've made family recipe books. Holiday books that I put out with the holiday decorations. And I tend to make books that have current events and what our family is doing right in the midst of the event. For instance I did a whole volume on the first 6 months of the Pandemic. I included daily numbers, daily news stories but I also included photos of the kids trying to do school from home and us wearing our masks and going shopping for toilet paper and Lysoling our groceries before we brought them in the house, and what we did when we were confined to home and my sister working from home, etc. I would videotape myself reading Bible stories to send to the kids because my niece said her kids were going crazy staying inside. So I have a photo of that. Photos of us attending church by wearing a mask inside our car and sitting in the car parked 6 ft away from other cars and the pastor preaching outside in the parking lot. I did the same the summer before the last presidential election because I knew no one would believe how crazy things got. I got photos and news stories of the riots and the fear. I included photos and stories of us being afraid to leave home to go on our annual family vacation. We traveled in a convoy together, armed, as we were afraid. We didn't leave the beach house and beach all week because we were afraid. I'm working on one for this summer like this as it's the summer before an election and a very contentious one. When I was still doing paper scrapbooks I did books for the 1960's and the 1970's. I did hairstyles, fashions, movies, books, TV programs, big news, technology, cars, and homes and I interspersed family photos from those times so that they could see what we lived through and why we wore the things we wore and had our hair like we did back then. Those were very popular books in the family. We are a part of what will become history and it shapes our thoughts and who we are. So I wanted to pick those decades when I was growing up and a teenager and newly married (got married at 18 and now married 47 years) and placed us in the midst of the history going on back then. The first news story I rmember (I was 4) was JFK's assassination. So I have a photo of me at that age along with the story of his assassination and a photo of the old b&w TV we had (or one like it, I had to find the image on the Internet but I found one just like it).

Loving your craft space corner. I would love to see your share your scrapbook series. I haven't litterly scrapbooked in years. I am a paper crafter but I do more of altering things, 3D projects, and stuff. What I like to do is cover composition books that I get from dollar tree with my pattern paper and I add laces and flowers on them and I use them for Bible studies. I also have given them out as gifts. I just shared a craft/Bible study room tour on my channel and share ways to organize paper, trinkets and stuff. Tfs.

I discovered paper crafting late summer of last year and am LOVING it. I create greeting cards and folios/photo albums. As you went thru your crating stash I was saying to myself, yep, got that, got that, got that. Lol. Ain't Spellbinder's monthly clubs the best? I also have a Cricut Maker and have collected SVG files to make die cuts. If you ever want to take your paper crafting into the digital realm, you should look at the newer Cricut Joy Xtra. Cricut Access just added a sticker function AND a SVG maker function. You can take an image, PNG for example and transform the image to an SVG (layers) that you can cut for your scrapbooks. Lots of vids showing this function. I enjoyed the video. Thanks! Btw, had a thought. What if you challenged yourself to do a scrapbook page for every video you released for a year? Might not be doable, but I think it would be interesting to watch you do a page now and then and review the scrapbook at the end of that year. Thanks again and GOD bless. 🙂
