I think a lot of people don't understand business. When you say "I made $191,000 in sales last year, they think you made $191,000 last year. They don't understand that you sold $191,000 worth of parts but only profited a piece of that.

I remember an American guy on ebay back in the 2000s pulling swap parts and shipping them all over the USA...but he lived in Japan at the time, so he also had CTR and ITR clusters and steering wheels and Nissan/Toyota lsd, everything. What a hustle 😁 and fueled an awesome industry at the same time.

@John_Rod

A. Price them correctly. Can’t stress that enough. B. Since usps increased the price depending on how far you’re shipping it out to, fedex smartpost is the cheapest thing around now. Ebay has a shipping calculator, just google ebay shipping calculator so you can get an idea. C. You can do free shipping but just add the cost of shipping to the price or just put in the cost of shipping there

I’m new to this, can somebody point me in the right direction. What parts are the best selling right now. I’m very lucky, I get all my parts for free because my pap owns a very large junkyard in Pennsylvania. I make 100% profit. I’m just selling 75% speedometers, and the rest is climate controls or an entire dash panel that comes out easy (only some cars have that). I made $3800 so far in my first month and a half. I’m so new to this, I can make so much more. I’m only 18 years old, I’m just learning about cars now. Any help is appreciated

This is how I funded my hobby up until this year for the last 2-3 years. I paid for a 600sq work space ($650 a month) for my personal builds and filps. Now race car. Anyways,so I was going to junkyard 2-3 times a week to look for parts for cars I was fixing up to flip. But also picking parts up I knew I could sell on eBay. Then I was also buying "parts" cars. For the swap for a flip car. Then I kept every part I could sell on eBay. Smaller more valuables, primarily.Soon I had a bunch of shelves full of parts I'm selling on eBay. Kept all the money in my PayPal. Only transferred for shop rent. And the PayPal balance I would buy race car parts with, or for my personal car. Get it!

Diymike ! . On the way home from Apple Canyon I was with my dude Chris there was this down hill s turn on the road on the way to my friends house and I tried to take it as fast as I could . Right after I was out of it I smelled burnt rubber . Later we stoped at a restaurant my other friends were there too in their car but I want to see what happened I looked under the wheel well on one of the back tires on the 2003 zx2 there was a spot on the wheel well with a little bit of rubber on it I had bottomed out my car on the s turn . Previously to this I had spun out my car and hit a curb I hit I hard enough to crack part of my aluminum rims I fucked up the bearing I had it replaced my grandma payed for it but the shock and where it mounts to the body got bent too soo that’s why I think my car bottomed out it always made noise after I hit the curb The guy that worked on it was our neighbor he told me what was ring and what happened.
