Thank you! Can you write the name of the non- profit organization you mention? I would like to see their work too! Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks!

Sorry it took so long to respond! The organization was called Ragmate but it doesn't seem to exist anymore. The URL doesn't work anymore and there are no updates on their social media. It was a Finnish-based company founded by Martta Leskela, and staffed by Syrian women.

So you just tie strips of cut T shirt to top and bottom frame ofloom or do a continuous wrap around from and back (or just front)? Very colorful. Is your course on making rugs or all types of crafts?

Hi - You can do strips or a continuous warp - whatever you have available. Generally I like to use the longer pieces for the weft of a rug to make it stronger, so I'm using short pieces for the warp. But if you have such abundance of t-shirts, you certainly could do either. The course is specifically to learn how to do this style of rug.

Where did you get your loom at?

The loom in this video is a Story Loom that my husband built for me using plans from Weaving a Life - www.weavingalife.com/tools-downloads/#downloadstoryloomplans. However, you don't need that loom to make fluffy rugs. Any tapestry loom will work. For example, if you check out my previous video here on KZitem, I am weaving a rug on a loom made from a large wooden art frame that I found in the trash. Thanks for asking!

If you check out my past social media posts, and you typically can figure out how to do things by watching an artist, you can figure it out. If you are someone who needs step-by-step instructions, there is a course on my website trashmagination.com that goes into a lot of detail.
