I'd love to know more about how you've set up your anki. The anki background looks so great!

I’d love to see how you make Anki cards. I’ve been using cloze and image occlusion in undergrad, but I’ve seen med students format/ask questions differently. I’m starting school in less than a month and trying to calm myself down by learning how to best utilize Anki 😅

Any tips for studying more application based courses like math/chem/physics?
@madeleineeig4178

tbh just ensure that you understand the foundations/go over theory, then do a bunch of practice questioms

^ agreed!! doing practice questions, instead of just passively reviewing is the best way to get better at application :)

do you have a lecture tracker for each course or is it for all of them? I really like your setup of it!
@AllieC

since all students learn the same thing, we only have like one BIG course so all the content is tracked in one spreadsheet!

This is one of the most helpful, detailed and genuine 'how I study in medical school' videos I've ever watched and trust me, I've watched a lot (doing a bit of prep for med school starting this september lol). I think it's because it was personal to you and you explained exactly how it helps. I love love love the lecture tracker tip, I'm defo going to use that! Good luck in your future studies, Allie! How old are you? Are u 18? Cause I've wasted three years of my life on a degree that I didn't like now I'm 24 and I think I'm too old to study medicine

You're not too old to study Medicine, just because you might take longer than others doesn't mean you shouldn't. If you want to do it, please do.

@@saralola456 it was a typo 😩 I'm so sorry, I know you can do it. You're going to be a good doc, I feel like if you're 24, that's honestly pretty young, some people start at 30 tbh and I've seen them succeed. I think you being 24 doesn't matter because when you get that degree what would matter is that you're a doc. Just remember why you're planning on studying medicine
