Awesome story. I've had a similar experience in trying to determine identity of my paternal great grandfather. One of my brothers did a Y-DNA test which confirmed our biological surname. I learned my paternal great grandfather was married twice because of DNA matches I have with descendants of his daughter from first marriage. Without those matches I would not have been able to confirm the identity of my great grandfather. Thank you for sharing your story

I must say that this was a very heartwarming video to watch. Especially the part where you talked about visiting those places in the deep south and how you felt that they were a part of you. I can relate to how you felt because I have always felt that way about Manila. From the very first time I ever went there to even now, I've always felt that I belonged there. That I was accepted there. Manila became my second home. Anyways, Nathaniel Christopher you have produced another high quality video that was heartwarming, informative, and fascinating. But of course. YOU are a fascinating man. I hope you are well bud.

Interesting video. We took Ancestry DNA and discovered my grandmothers father wasn't her biological 1. We was able to identify who my grandmothers father was, due to a half 1st cousin match to my mother. She shared 325 cM of DNA with him.

Have you considered doing videos on your Maternal side genealogy and DNA ? Have you put your research and everything you've found on Ancestry or similar for public view and research ? Have you done a Health DNA ? Mayo Clinic apparently has an excellent option . Thank you for sharing your fascinating videos and information with us .

Thank you. As for my father, there really isn't much to say about him other than he was not a good person nor was he a part of my life. He died in December 2003.

Great video ! Looking forward to seeing the follow up video . Have you looked into why your biological Father made the choices he did ? How was he treated by his adoptive parents ? Any early childhood trauma and abuse ? Or did he just make poor choices ? I am always curious about people's backgrounds and history and how they became the people they ended up being and making the life choices they made . Great series of videos .
