I think you could stand to go for 17-18 for now. the faster you get, its normal to lower your times by smaller and smaller amounts. As for specific stuff you could try and start f2l look ahead. but if you dont have certain cases in your hands to do look ahead just yet, just do solves where you pause, recognize the f2l case, and then execute it as fast as you can without looking at it. then after youre comfortable with the cases you can start trying to look away from your current pair through the entire solve. Im not sure exactly what you need but this might help :)

I don't really agree with the colour neutral thing because we've been shown many times that you can get fast with even white only, just look at last years championships, 2 white cross only solvers podiumed.
@chimchu3232
Жыл бұрын
Yes, I think it's advantageous ymto be able to do white or yellow cross, but realistically you don't have time to analyze every single color and find the best cross on the whole cube anyway, and solving just white can really help make your cross more efficient, because you can't just pick the easiest looking one. And this is coming from a color neutral solver

@ultrainstinctcubing8373

Learn how to solve a cube, then once you get around 45 or 50 seconds on average, learn the cfop method. After that work on f2l and gradually learn last layer algorithms. With just practice and this basic knowledge of cfop, you can most likely get down to 15-20 seconds!
