Thanks for bringing back lovely memories! We stayed at Camping Covelo in 2013 and took the boat to Monte Isola. Good grief! Mrs Slaw actually dropped the F bomb as Andy was navigating out of that campsite 😱 The sculpture walk looked a bit steep 😂 Thanks for sharing 🚍☀️

Definitely 3rd time lucky with the campsite, how beautiful. Was somewhat holding my breath on the approach road 😮, we all need lessons from the bus driver 😂 don’t you get the value for money in the little cafes just off the beaten track. Looking forward to seeing Grindelwald in the next one. Best wishes H&M. 😊

The bus driver definitely has some good tight spot skills bus, I wonder how many scratches he put on buses while he was practicing! It was hard to leave the view from the campsite at Grindlewald, we ended up booking an extra night! Cheers...Andy&Michelle 😊

Great video, good to see Iseo again. We walked up the Island on a hot June day, was exhausting but stunning at the top. Agree the church was a bit spooky! Our site was a bit closer to Iseo but equally snug. Witnessed a whole awning being rippped off a van as he caught a tree leaving 😳

That is some hike to the top, it's a lot higher than it looks. That's kind of reassuring to know it wasn't just our campsite that was tight. I wince at the thought of an awning being ripped off, cheers...Andy&Michelle

Proprietà Privata means Private Property; who knew? (I appreciate you didn't see it, rather than didn't understand what it meant :-) ) Yeah, that was a narrow road; good job negotiating it, even with Michelle's help. "Back a bit and left a bit" is much better than having wing mirrors, haha. Great drone shots of those pyramids too.

My wife and I love your channel and you’ve inspired us to take early retirement and travel throughout Europe and the Nordics. Can you tell me the best way to find campsites and Aires in European countries. Is there an app or website that you find best?
@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures
10 ай бұрын
Hi.. that’s great to hear we’ve inspired you both 😃 We use Apps “park4night” and “search for sites” there’s also another that we’ve been told about but not yet used called “camper contact” Always read reviews first and when arrive if don’t get a good feeling find another. Generally they have always been really good 👍🏼 Enjoy your travels M&A

@Richard&Ella, I’m from Germany. For travelling the continent I can highly recommend ADAC Camping 24 (in your case). It’ll cost you something like 10 Euros for one year. It offers all European countries and within these it is divided into local regions. You can search for sites according to your preferences, such as available online, available today, how good is it rated and many more features. I find it great because it narrows down the number of campsites to those which really meet my requirements. We have used it for one year now and were never disappointed. enjoy your retirement, maybe we’ll meet accidentally at a campsite, you never know!
