Great explanation! Just a question, when exporting, how could I save the configuration for next time exporting?

Hey Teddy! At the moment there is no export template save in the app, but we do have a workaround! Create an export as you need it and run that export. Then press Export Again button. A new export page will open with the same setup. The URL is unique for that new export page as it copes other export by its ID. So you can bookmark that browser URL. that way you can bookmark multiple such URLs. The URL should be something like this - mystore.myshopify.com/admin/apps/excel-export-import/export?from_job_id=123987123 You see the from_job_id parameter there, that is the export job that it will copy when opening this page.

Hello Indeed Magento file would only have relative image paths but not full URL with domain. Our app has a feature for this to migrate data from Magento to Shopify and also generates full image links. You would need to follow our tutorial here on how to migrate Products from Magento to Shopify - matrixify.app/tutorials/migrate-products-from-magento-to-shopify/ If you have any questions or concerns along the way, please reach out to our support directly - matrixify.app/contact-us/

Can i know the difference between Matrixfy and the regualr CSV import in "Products"?
@matrixify
Жыл бұрын
Sure, there are several key differences between using Shopify's native CSV import/export for products and using Matrixify: 1. **File Type**: Shopify works with CSV files, while Matrixify allows you to work with Excel (XLSX) files, which can be more convenient and familiar for many users. 2. **Progress Visibility**: With Shopify, you upload the CSV file and wait for an email to know the status of your import/export. With Matrixify, you can see the progress of your imports/exports in real-time, estimate the time to completion, and cancel them at any time. 3. **Export Flexibility**: Shopify's CSV export gives you the full store with all products and all fields. Matrixify, on the other hand, allows you to choose what details to export and filter which products you need to export. This can save time and file size, and prevent duplicate rows. 4. **Image Import**: To import several images per product with Shopify CSV, you need to copy rows and put the image in each row. With Matrixify, you can put all images in one row in the "Image Src" column, separated by a semicolon. 5. **Metafields**: Shopify CSV does not support the export or import of Metafields. Matrixify allows you to export Metafields as columns in the same table of Products, edit them, and import them back as updates. 6. **Updating Products**: With Shopify CSV, when you import, you either create new or replace existing Products. Matrixify allows you to update products as well, even individual fields by importing just those fields. 7. **Template Suffix Field**: Shopify CSV does not support the export or import of the Template Suffix field of your products. Matrixify does. 8. **File Size Limit**: Shopify CSV has a file size limit of 15 MB, which is roughly not more than 10,000 Products. Matrixify has a 3 GB Excel file size limit. These are just a few of the differences. Matrixify can import and export a lot more than just products. You can find more information in the Matrixify documentation. Remember, the choice between Shopify CSV and Matrixify will depend on your specific needs and preferences. If you have any more questions about our app, let us know - matrixify.app/contact-us/

If I lose my internet connection does it still continue the migration in your server or I'll just start over again?

Hello Once the import job is started in the app, it is running on our servers. So you can close your computer/browser tab and the job would still be running. You can open the app anytime and in the Home page see last 5 jobs done with the app including currently running jobs, click on it to open it.
