Thank you for making these videos! It is so refreshing to hear you speak openly about God and His love for us. How He loves Us is another beautiful song...the first time I heard this verse I just loved it "His love is a hurricane I am a tree bending beneath the weight of His wind and Mercy...and I realize just how beautiful you are and how great your affections are for me and oh how he loves us..."

leanonme I LOVE THAT SONG SO MUCH!!!!!! Literally sang it in Haiti... it was so beautiful. We sang the chorus in Creole. "Le reme nou" (might not be perfect spelling lol) means "How He loves us" 😭🙌🏻It was the most beautiful thing ever.. and thank YOU for watching! I so appreciate it.

This is one of those things you know about but then you easily forget about it and reminders like this is always, ALWAYS needed. I know I can find myself devastated and too embarrassed to approach God because of the stuff I find myself doing, and then I would go days without talking to him or "trying" to avoid him becuase I feel like he is angry or disappointed or can't use me anymore. But OBVIOUSLY His love never changes. I love the picture of God's love being a wildfire, it something that we need to check within ourselves, how much do we really love? Is our love to others evidence of the love of God in us? Man these analogies were great Becca! I love you. Thanks for being faithful and open and also for just being a great friend!

I love how you relate it to those major visuals! I never thought of it that way. Very cool! But the fact that God's love is unchanging is so steadfast. He has done everything already in love. But to have a relationship with Him, all He asks is for us to fully repent and admit we are sinners. Recognize what He has done. That is the Tornado. That action, repentance, breaks us down. It's almost like God rebuilds His Temple in you. Raising it up from the dead after such destruction. He rebuilds us one day, one stone at a time. Making beauty from ashes! Beautiful :D Thanks for sharing!!! Also, I love that poem you read, where did you get it?

Semester 2 Psalm 5:11-12 KJV [11] But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. [12] For thou, Lord , wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. Psalm 16:11 KJV [11] Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 25:14 KJV [14] The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. Psalm 29:11 KJV [11] The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. Psalm 31:19 KJV [19] Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalm 63:3 KJV [3] Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Psalm 103:17-18 KJV [17] But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; [18] To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. Psalm 119:165 KJV [165] Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalm 23:1-6 KJV [1] The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Psalm 25:9,12🍉 [9] The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. [12] What man is he that feareth the Lord ? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. Psalm 119:105 KJV [105] Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 143:10 KJV [10] Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness. Psalm 16:8 KJV😴 [8] I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Psalm 18:2 KJV [2] The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 34:8 KJV [8] O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. Psalm 56:3-4 KJV [3] What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. I really like a lot of Bethel's stuff as well, since it often has the same wonderful message as you do in this video. God/Jesus is not schizophrenic; even in his judgment, he never steps outside of love, because he IS love, so we're liberated to be confident sons and daughters, and perfect love casts out fear. If you've heard the song "Kind" by Amanda Cook, I think the lyrics put it most clearly of all. God bless as always!

Hi, I love your videos so much! Towards the end you said that because you're so happy about gods love, you can't keep it to yourself and you need to share that with other people. I'm just wondering what are some practical ways that we can share gods love with other people? I find that straight out talking about it is really awkward. Also, what are things that I can do everyday that will further his kingdom and have a lasting impact? Does that mean obeying his word or does it go further than that? Thanks!

Hi FarAwayDistance! I'm struggling to understand God's love for me... So do you instantly get the overwhelming knowledge of God's love or does it grow over time? Because I'm feeling a teeny bit discouraged because I don't really know it the way a lot of other Christians do...
@FarAwayDistance
7 жыл бұрын
Hi!! It's definitely something you learn about more and more each day. Our knowledge of God's love for us grows each day if that makes sense. At least that's true for me. Especially if you grew up without an earthly father or any parents at all, knowing you have an eternal perfect heavenly Father can be overwhelming for some people. There are a lot of situations like that, where people were not loved in a way that is like God's love (were hurt by humans in some way because of sin) and that makes us SO grateful and overwhelmed to know that there is a God who will always love us perfectly if that makes sense. Another thing is you have to remind yourself of your sin (even if you're what our society says is a "good person," look at the Bible and see the law, have you kept all of those things? NO one has. We have ALL sinned. And the consequence of sin is death. When you look at your sin and see how far you fall short of upholding the law, you'll realize...wow. I am in need of a Savior because my choices deserved death. THAT right there should make you fall to your knees before the Lord in awe of His love for you, because you did not deserve to have Him die for you, but He did anyways. He took your place. That love and grace brings me to my knees, and I hope it brings you to your knees too.

Does someone have tips how to react to people misusing Gods name/cursing? It hurt me so bad and I hate myself for not speaking up but WHAT SHOULD I DO WHAT SHOULD I SAY?
@chuckmcgee728
7 жыл бұрын
That is a tough topic. I guess the first thing is are you the type of person to step up and say anything. In situations like this I like to take a step back and ask myself a couple of questions. How would Jesus handle this? Should I be hanging around people who act this way. If they are a friend then maybe pull them aside and let them know that you are uncomfortable when they talk this way. Maybe this is a great opportunity to introduce that person to God. I can go on and on. Those are just some ideas. You could always just walk away. What does your heart tell you. One last thing. Pray for this person. God Bless you. Check out my channel and subscribe to it if you like my videos. Have a great day.

If they're your friends or people you spend a lot of time around, I would definitely speak up gently/kindly and say that it really bothers you because of your faith in God. Be gently & kind, I really want to stress that part, but definitely tell them how it makes you feel. Like use the word "feel" when you say it. If they truly care about you, they will make the effort to stop that habit of misusing His name. If they're not people you spend a lot of time around, my best advice is correct it in your head. Because you'll never be able to change everyone's bad habits ya know? It would be emotionally draining to try to tell every single person that it bothers you, so don't do that. But the people who are in your life frequently, definitely pull them aside and say something. :) x

I agree with tracysmilesmajestilly Share the Bible with this person. Pray for this person. When you are with this person take that opportunity to share stories that you have experienced with God. Don't be pushy and trust in your prayers for her. Have Faith in God because He does have a plan for this person. He is always molding us. I will pray for you . God Bless

Pray pray pray like crazy for him & show Him Christ's love and joy in you. Definitely don't be afraid to talk about Jesus in front of him and ask him what he believes and stuff if he is comfortable talking about that. Let him SEE Jesus in you, and he will eventually ask you what is so different about you? And that answer is Jesus, which opens up a beautiful conversation. :) But you can't convert or convince anyone, don't even try. It's God's job. He can change hearts, we can't. Give it to God and pray pray pray pray pray for him. :) x

So like, teacher says a few students are flying to X or Y location, want to tag along? >sign paper, set flight plan, go as class< ? I'm asking because I have no idea about the direction of my life and I don't want to sit idly by and mistake passivity with "waiting on God's will". Perhaps helping others in different countries can give me a feeling I've never felt and open my eyes to new possible futures? 🤔 I'm not an idiot, but I just am not 100% sure as to how I would get involved. Thank you! ☺👍
