I wish you would have pulled the cores out and compared the thatch layer from weeks ago other video

I'll do that next time, Sept 16. That will be 62 to 63 days of progress after a full three applications. I most likely can't do this in October due to temps but mid Sept should be fine. Were still in the upper 80s and low 90s now so those products should be working just fine for the time being.

Yeast is a form of bacteria no? Enzymes is just a form of chemical, like digestive juices.

I live in CT. I already reseeded my yard. I dethatched with a rake and aerated the best I could. I’m new at lawn care. Should I apply a liquid dethatcher? I still see some on the lawn

Thanks for your videos. We have been using GCF D-Thatch for 2 1/2 years now. Twice a year in summer. I guess its working, I don’t see a significant difference. Anything is better than renting the machine and that just beats the hell out of the lawn.

I know what you mean, "guess it's working". Always hard to really tell with something like this. Im not affiliated with GCF although I do have an affiliate relationship with Yard Mastery but you always have to be careful with sales pitches, d-thatch is just humic acid, plus molasses, plus a "yeast blend". IMO its a solid conditioner with food for beneficial microorganisms. I know that stuff works but it sure doesn't appear to be a quick fix for anything. Its like eating broccoli for dinner periodically, its good for you but won't make you look any different in the mirror tomorrow. 😆

Turf Mechanic , Looking forward to your pre emergence video w/seeding. What do you think of this? We have 14,000 sf TTTF/KBG mix. It’s in great shape. Been following LCN’s e-book for 3 years. So, got some grub damage 50 sf in water run off area. I was planning on covering that area with old bed sheets or a tarp while applying Prodimine granular to the rest of the lawn. Then reseed the bad area using a garden weasel. I’m doing this because of a slight POA issue we been tackling for years.

You should mix molasses beer and water and see if you get the same or better results.
