Honestly, I would give my life to set foot on another planet. The adventure of a lifetime, to walk on another planet, to see with my own eyes, how happy I would be. I have dove in the oceans, climbed mountains, and seen sunrises and sunsets that look as though God himself painted the sky. What I wouldn't give to have a taste of another world.

I'm sure that they could layer up with air conditioning in a suit. But my thing about landing on Venus might not be the heat. The atmospheric pressure rival Challenger Deep. This would be my issue. Now if the Soviet Union couldn't build a lander that could last longer then 2 hours sitting there. Then all of the above is an issue. We won't set foot on Venus. Mars is futher then Venus and host different problems. Like the lack of atmospheric pressure which is 1% of Earth. Then the fact that it's cold as hell. I know why we want to go to Mars but the overall cost of going is to great. It would be a 1 way ticket and no help could get there in time if they needed it. Basically the world would turn their backs on the people and cut transmission if something did go wrong. I say screw it and go to another star system. Lol. Not

Would my left ball hang as low on Venus as it does on Earth?
@jimmyt9345
Жыл бұрын
Some of the best and brightest scientists have been studying this, but they cannot be certain or reach an agreement. They have however agreed that the only way to know for sure is to send a manned (and they mean man ) mission. Additionally, they agree know that one's left ball must be hanging at precisely the same level upon leaving earth's atmosphere and later entering Jupiter's atmosphere , otherwise the findings would be skewed and thus inconclusive.

With current tech we can already build cloud cities on venus but its too expensive at the moment. Terraforming venus is not out of the question either, again just too expensive and time consuming at the moment

It's possible we could send bots that make tall mushroom shaped structures, root them into the ground and have them extend into just above the clouds, and we could technically survive comfortably on those. Pressure and temperature are similar to earth in that region.

When I was a kid and saw Venus through a telescope. I was shocked to see that it looked like the moon. It wasn't a circle like Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. When I went to school the next day and told my teacher what I saw, she said nope. Venus doesnt look anything like the moon. Venus has clouds and that's why it's so bright in the sky. I tried to explain to her that I wasn't talking about the features of the planet. I was so little and didn't know how to put into words that it had phases like the moon and wasn't a complete circle. But then she drew on the chalk board a circle and said this is what I would see in the sky..... I asked if it wasn't Venus then what was it? She said apparently I was staring at the moon. I went home and I was so mad. I told my mom what the teacher said and how she made me feel stupid like I didn't know what I was looking at. The next day my mom calls the school and sets up a meeting with the teacher and principal. The following day she apologized to me and said that I was right. I don't know how mad she was to admit that she was wrong that day but I do know she was hard on me the rest of the year. When I asked her why she was harder on me then the other kids. She tried to say that she wasn't at first and then said that she expects more from me. So I busted my butt to try and do everything the best I could. I found out that she just hated me for telling my mom.

John.. a more interesting video “imo” would be.. if earth continues the changes it has went through the last 500 years.. if we “mostly china” continues to pollute the way we do “also increasing” and if the sun continues getting hotter as it moves towards its red giant phase… how long until earth is venus 2.0? or simply uninhabitable?

Q: "How Long Would It Take Us To Go to Venus?" A: "Not long enough!" I mean if the Soviets wanted to one-up the USA during the Cold War's emphasis on rocket-science, my hat's off. The United States started sending probes to Mars. Russia laughed at decadent capitalist Americanskis and sent a probe to Venus. Four. Four probes. Mars is a frozen desert with little in the way of an atmosphere but some admittedly formidable dust storms. Venus, by comparison, is a hellscape of 800-degree temperatures, the atmospheric pressure sizable portion of that of the Marianas Trench. Haw Haw Haw, decadent capitalist Americanskis!
