In the beginning God created Heaven and Earth. He created humans too to have a relationship with Him. That's our purpose as humans that have a relationship with God. Sin, however, messed that up because it made us imperfect and imperfect creatures cannot have a relationship with a perfect and holy God. That's why we so oftentimes feel empty, unsatisfied and unaccomplished because we're not in relationship with the God we were created to be in a relationship with. But that's where Jesus comes in. Jesus is God's son and He came down to earth in human form to live the same life we do yet unlike us He never sinned. Jesus is perfect. Yet despite the fact He is perfect He died on the cross for our sins and sacrifice Himself for us. The punishment for our sins is death but because Jesus took that punishment for us if we put our faith in Him and receive Him as Lord and savior we can be reconciled to God and be restored to that relationship we were created to have. And we can be sure that Jesus is the Son of God because on the 3rd day God raised Him from the dead and in that He defeated death and the grave, proving that He can do the same for us if we put our faith in trust in Him. That's how you get to Heaven. That's how you become full in your heart. That's how you become reconciled to the God who created you.

Try and stand up to it as you would defy a bully. Keep a straight posture, your head high, a calm breath and look straight at it. You brain will gradually understand that there is nothing to fear. I used to feel like I was fighting the cold, and then I realized it's just a transference of heat, when you get into a hot shower your skin prickles and then eventually you adjust to it and it feels good, when you get into cold water your skin prickles and then it begins to feel good, it really helps me to tell my mind that I'm not hot or I'm not cold but I'm just transferring Heat from one direction to another, then suffering goes away and just becomes a transference of temperature

Just done my first cold 🥶 bath. Outside at night and just had a quick cold shower before getting in. I’ve been doing 5 mins cold showers morning and night most days for about two months. Set the timer to 11 minutes. Focused on my breathing and got in the metal bath. No problem. Sure it was cold but I knew after a couple of mins it would feel great, and it did. The time flew by. Took longer to warm up after getting out, so I had a hot cup of coffee. It’s really not as difficult as you think, just build yourself up to it. Take it steady and feel the benefit 👍

I jump off the bed and get into cold shower every week from monday to friday, for 5 years now (of course some weeks I skip one or two days, sometimes 5 =D, but in the long run the important is to have consistency). My tip for the ones that are starting is: don’t turn on the shower and stay there waiting for the right moment to jump in, because there won’t be any. Just go and let your emotions flow. Your body will find ways to adapt to this situation and over time this adaptation will get faster and faster. I would say that currently my adaptation takes approximately 10 seconds.

I did cold water training consistently four winters in a row. I got up to nearly ten minutes in water so cold I had to bust in with a hammer. I trained at least once a day though sometimes did multiple sessions a day. All it does is temporarily give you an amazing high like no other along with some physical health benefits. As far as actually improving mental health, it doesn’t do jack shit. If you’re anything like me, when it comes time to talk to some chicks, do an interview or any other moment in life when you badly need to be rid of anxiety/neuroses, you’ll find that much to your dismay, all those cold therapy sessions have completely failed you in this regard. Same goes for the breath work. It is utterly useless as a tool for anxiety but can make you feel good temporarily when practiced in solitude. In conclusion, appreciate the WHM for what it is, a free and healthy way to get high. Don’t set yourself up for disappointment by thinking it’s some life changing limitless pill like I did.
@slash3r142

Nothing is a life changing limitless pill (maybe psychedelics in certian situations), the only way to deal with those types of anxieties is to go through them - talk to random girls without even thinking about it and see where it takes you In retrospect some people who are really good in taking and social interactions would be scared to shit to go for 20 seconds in ice cold water, let alone 10minutes. You already have such a strong will power which in the long run is so much more important than leaving a good first impression :)

Was up to my waist for like 2 and a half minutes and had heart submerged for like 15 seconds. Seemed like dangerous cold lol but on the other hand how cold do you think it was when it was probably 60 degrees Fahrenheit without ice? Last week I had a water thermometer and saw the cold water was 60 degrees Fahrenheit and I was in it for 30 minutes. Shivering quite a bit. I trained my mind quite a bit since my heart was submerged the whole time. Cheated "cheated" I guess not having arms submerged though so I could hold my cell phone and watch an amusing video 3 minutes-ish long to make the time go faster lol. I guess as long as heart is under it's still good, right?!
