M. Night Shyamalan is an above average director. Sure, the guy had his flops - a strong of them - but, then again, so does every director. His biggest problem was the comparison's to Steven Spielberg, which were overblown. He was being compared to someone he wasn't, which is proved through the films. Shyamalan does best when he can get a little weird.Trying to shoehorn him into a mass appeal film will only be bad for him and the producers. Let Shyamalan be Shyamalan and you're almost guaranteed to earn your money back.
