The x-frame and 500 mag aren't the biggest around anymore. A company took the bfr bored it out a bit to make room for the 500 bushwaker, it's around twice as powerful as the 500 mag. Loved the video l was surprised 8 was the magic number for most of those rounds.

Those are not 4Runner windshields. Those are Tacoma windshields. I’m a windshield repair tech. Also, I recommend seeing what buckshot does to a windshield 😂

Next time you go to the parts store ask the person behind the counter for a water pump gasket for a 1997 Tacoma. Tell them you don’t know what it looks like and to describe it’s appearance to you as best as they can. Thank me later 😂

@@blakeog2034 I think that’s true of the older ones, but this latest generation is 2 different windshields. The 4Runner is a little shorter, and less curved on the bottom corners

What i am missing in all the clips about the 408 cheytac is a test about penetrating power on long distance shots. I heard the cheytac advantage is a higher penetrating power than for example a 50BMG when shooting targets that are far away. Becuse the smaller bullet does not loose as much speed as the 50BMG. But in every clips i have seen they are shooting targets that are only a few meters away.

Hey EdwinI have an idea for you try a bunch of shots from right close range on the windshield and then try some shots from about 20 yd on the windshields and see if momentum helps anything. Just an Idea

While the difference would be negligible between the muzzle and 20 yards, the bullet starts losing momentum as soon as it leaves the barrel. It would need a tiny rocket engine to increase momentum. Unless you wanna tell me that I'm misunderstanding what you are talking about.

The last one could actually have been a good test. The thing about bullet proof glass is that it only works for one. So even a pistol on full auto would get through them all like a 50 cal did. You could make a video out of that

@@Millzspec yes I have and no it doesn't. If it's rated for 50 cal the second one gets through at the same location. so easy way to defeat 'bullet proof glass' is a short sequence.

I remember a test done some 40 - 50 years ago, I think Guns 'N Ammo mag. A 50BMG against the 3" bullet proof glass of B17 tail gunners window @ 100 yards. Went thru like a hot knife thru butter. Someone commented he wouldnt have wanted to be a tail gunner when 109's came at 'em with 20 mike mike explosive rounds.

The prob with 408 Cheytac is the 50 BMG has more options when it comes to bullet types than the Cheytac. 50 BMG in a armor piercing round is unmatched for penetration.
