I suffer from decision fatigue on the daily. I’m sure it’s 100% related to my job and the clutter I have accumulated. I’ve realized clutter has been robbing me of precious time. Thx for this video!

Just found your channel. I'm the third child of 6 kids as well. I have 5 brothers and was adopted. I deal with anxiety and adhd syntums. I became minimal about 6 years ago. I'm obsessed with the lifestyle. I constantly look for ways to live more minimal. It's been a journey. I'm in my mid-40s, and I enjoy a clutter free minimal home. I have a wonderful husband and 2 grown kids. Minimalism has been genuinely a life changer physically, mentally, and spiritually. Best of luck living the minimal lifestyle. ❤

I think it's important to say that the next step from decluttering and paring down your possessions is to be mindful about what you buy and bring into your space. Reduce your consumption, too 😊

I feel this way currently. I did a huge declutter recently and still have a little bit to go. I often feel overwhelmed and also have anxiety disorder. I've been perpetually behind on training, chores, I often am just covering the very basics and can't even remember when I last changed my sheets or thoroughly washed my hair. Sometimes I feel too distracted to pray. Life moves too fast and I decided that I needed to make room, time and space to prioritise that level of self-care and wellbeing, as well as show consistency in my craft. I can't have peace if so many negative things are calling my attention. That's what I am going to work on in 2024. 😊❤🎉

I'm a hoarder not living in towers of stuff but still my cupboards are full...I'm wanting to heal so I started decluttering. I still have a lot of stuff because I struggle to detach from things. But I have made some progess. My main aim is to get rid of what I can. Then gradually chip away at things by reading books and donating some, using up beauty products and craft supplies. But also not bringing more stuff in.

I really loved this video. I am aspiring to be more minimal. I considered myself pretty minimal until I moved out of my apartment and now share a home with my sister. She unfortunately is a hoarder but the rent is cheap and necessary for now. Ironically it’s motivating me to be even more minimal and simplified. I am trying to make my room as minimal as possible and continuing to get rid of things as I try to settle in. I am looking for more calm and less anxiety as well and I want to feel that way when I enter my room. I have gotten better at detaching myself from many things but not everything. I don’t have much space to work with so I’m trying to figure it all out. I would love to see more minimalism content if that’s something you’re planning on doing. Thanks so much for the video and sharing your journey on how minimalism helped you! 😊

I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! The situation you're in is definitely tricky. Not having full control over the space can make it feel like you're fighting a losing battle, I've definitely been there. You're doing the right thing though by focusing on your own space first and creating your own little sanctuary. Minimalism is a journey, not a destination, so keep moving in the direction that brings you peace. Best of luck! ❤️

I am on my journey for six years. As seasons change my way to look at the stuff also changed. In these years I finished university, started working, got two children and sold over 1000 media devices (books, DVDs, games). I am still not an extreme minimalist. I had actually to rebuy some of my purged books and learned to accept that I love physical books too much and reread them regularly so I still have a lot. And I started to sew so I have a maschine, fabrics and yarns. We play a lot of board games as a family. But my wardrobe still shrinks from season to season (I did not purge that much but wear them until they fall apart). I gave up most of my knitting stuff(before kids I used to knit a lot, but sewing is quicker and better for kid’s clothing), my flute (never really got into it) and most of my PlayStation games. For me minimalism gives me the freedom to do what I like. I don’t think I would have hobbies with two little kids and being the breadwinner in the family now without minimalism.

Excellent video. So important to make the connection between our living space/our "stuff" and our mental health. Sold a ton of stuff this weekend at a yard sale and feel free of the burden that stuff was!

It started with a leak under my kitchen sink. Had to take everything out of there and call the plumber. Got rid of stuff I didn’t use (I think there were 10 unused flower vases?) reorganized cleaning supplies and finally could see everything I had under there! Moved to under bath sink cabinet. Wow what a mess and so much expired items! Utility closet, linen closet and finally bedroom closets. That is still ongoing as I store things in there besides clothes Bc it’s a small condo. Also Knick knacks I had collected over the years and didn’t even like anymore. Changed my life and now my space is easier to clean cause everything has a place to go. Currently I take one drawer or a kitchen cabinet a month and take everything out and clean and cut the items going back in. It’s actually fun!
