my daughter got lice from spending 2 nights at her friends house...the slept in the same bed...I treated her hair & used a black light 2 hand pick all the nits out. My head wont stop itching & my husband has checked my head twice & keeps me telling me he doesn't see anything but I dont trust his judgement since he knows nothong about head lice. I have fairly long dark hair & I dye it every 6 months....do u have suggestions on how I could check my own hair myself?? Thank you.

I'm sorry about replying so late but what you can do is stand in front of your mirror in your bathroom and find another small portable mirror and point it at your head and it should do a reverse reflect effect allowing you to see the back of your head hope this helps

Look at your scalp and your hair, part it into on section look there then repeat all over head if you find lice or nits closer than 3/4in away from your scalp you should be treated for head lice.

Can people who aren't moms use this method? If not, could you upload another video demonstrating how 19 year old college students can do it? I'd really appreciate it!

your a bitch & im gonna assume that you're super YOUNG OR JUST SUPERRR IMATURE If you had any sense you would assume that her personal position is a mother So therefore she was really referring to herself in the title she simply made this video for anyone who may need help with doing such a act.

I totally understand your fear. I hope things are better for you now. Did you ever go to a lice clinic? They are so worth it.
