I tried driving tankers and It wasn’t for me having to wear that uncomfortable hazmat suit and only going to those fuel plants was kinda depressing for some reason I knew right away it wasn’t for me but I will say the dudes that were there made good money 100k+ not bad I’m car hauling now and this is very much for me 😂love the work

there's ranges of pay depending on co. what is hauling and who customers are. but remember look at i 95 in philly when tanker went boom i never heard if driver was killed. but useally tankers don't run trucks till they die even a small outfit a friend of mine drove for leased trucks for 2 yrs but they ran them 2 shifts daily 7 days week. do try to talk to drivers from any co you can

I will get my tanker cdL. it’s a long process but time never stops . Tanker is better in the sense that you don’t have to do a lot of backing unlike the dry vans or reefers also the payment is better.

Is easy to get the CDL with all the endorsements for be a fuel hauler, the hardest thing is to get a job or find a company that is willing to hire you as a recent graduate, fuel hauler companies ask for a minimum of 2 years of experience.

They pay good money driving tanker because it’s flammable. You can blow up at any given time. There’s that risk that’s why they pay good money

😂 They don’t just blow up out of nowhere dude.

Even pulling tanker is getting cheaper. Nobody wants to pay top dollar for work. Better off getting into LTL companies
