And with no experience fresh out of school they’re only hiring team drivers, but they have a team match program and you could do that or work anywhere else for three months and then transfer into Schneider tanker. @@skyler12snypedrilling, whether it be geotech, wells, mining, petrol, geothermal, Pile driver... Lots of drilling to do, all depends on what kind of work schedule you want, petrol and mine drilling is 6 figures starting salary with all the bonuses for production + travel but the work schedules are wild and often the mines are secluded but mines will fly you in and out of the worksite on a rotating schedule where you work 12hr hard manual labor shifts every day for X amount of days and then take Y days off. I've considered it since I went to college for a diamond drilling common core, but opted for geotech instead because it's a typical 9-5 work schedule that's close to home and a lot less physically draining, a geotech driller makes at 22-28/hr as a helper, 32-45/hr as an operator. Well drilling tends to pay slightly less than geotech. And I don't know what piledriver operators make. But having drill common core + truck license = lots of options (need the truck license to operate truck mounted drills) For reference, I'm in Canada, salaries might be different in USA/Europe/elsewhere (however, I know for a fact that drillers in Australia, no matter what they're doing, make VERY good money)

Aircraft Technician pay is much higher. I work for JetBlue and make $40.75 an hour at year 2 (year 1 is $39) and will top out at $58.50 after 7 years. The 401k is also insane I put in 5% of my paycheck and get matched 260%. Best 401k in the country by far. Plus you accrue 5 weeks of PTO through the course of your first year.

@@NorthlandDWJ google Aircraft Maintenance programs near you and pick a trade school to go to. It’s a 2 year program. And in Boston at JetBlue you can start any time as a full time Aircraft Support technician doing cabin work for $24 an hour starting out and as soon as you get your A&P you become a regular technician for $38.25 an hour with a top out of $58.50 an hour. The benefits are insane. You get 5 weeks of PTO after one year accruing 3.84 hours per week as soon as you start and you get 260% matched on your 5% contribution into your 401k. I have 19k in my 401k after 1 year and 3 months. Not sure if that applies to AST’s though. But still a great career path. Also, you can transfer to any JetBlue maintenance base you want after 1 year as long as there’s an opening. But at Boston and New York City you will move up in seniority the fastest.
