There should be justice to pay all us designers a medium rate even from people in Latam and Asia. Think of that, even working with the lowest US or Europe rate, we could have the chance to improve our family lives. Problem most of the time, companies hire us to cut costs because they know 1k dolas salary is high four our country standard. If we could place our talent to work remotely with a foreign company to pay equally salaries the story for us would be much happier.

Aren't you guys somehow misguiding The aspirimg and non aspiring designers by showing the wrong salary standards..? People nowadays jump into so called ui/ux design because they think it pays well.. I meant to say that you should always show the lower standards as well so that aspiring designers don't get demotivated at the beginning.. FYI THE LOWER STANDARDS STARTS FROM 1.9lpa 0-2 yrs exp.. According to online sites like glassdoor and ambitionbox.. And avg is 12 lpa 4-5 yrs exp.. It's good to set standards high but at the same time APD also need to know the real truth.. According to my observation PDs increase d exponentially b/w 20-22.. And still increasing.. Credit goes to u guys for the contribution to the design community .. #designlife

If possible please make video on how to find fair value job where designers get recognised on their work Thanks for the video #ABNUX you made me realise there are people who is actually getting paid for their hardwork ✨

Bro , I'm a bdes fresher at IIT Guwahati. This year 5-10 seniors from our department bagged a package of 52lpa. 85% people of the batch got more than 15lpa. I wonder what'll be their salary in 10 years . I saw people who earned 10k per month now getting 1 cpa in 10-15 years of experience. But what's the case of these people earning 50lpa from starting itself, If they're are good at their work and switch jobs every years ( i mean the best case ) !? What's the maximum salary you've heard of a designer(lead) in India ?

First - It's not base-pay, it's a CTC with all the taxes and stuff. Second - don't glorify the ESOPs options, you get around 10-20% of your CTC value in ESOPs that too vested across 4 or 5 years so if you're not staying at the same company for 4-5 years, you don't get full value out of your ESOPs.
@abnux
Жыл бұрын
that’s only true for entry & mid level roles. As you go more senior and leadership in good startups, ESOPs can be 2x to 4x your salary with annual or frequent buybacks to make it liquid
