Hey Gunny I was wondering if you could make a video or perhaps a short on how to retake the ASVAB in the marine corps and if there are any classes on base to help you out. Love your videos man.

Oh that’s a good tip! There is definitely a way to do that and also prepare as well. I’ll definitely add that to my list!

To clarify So for bah let’s say I make 1100 every two week then the 2000 or whatever is added to that ?

Whatever you were total BAH would be, it would be split evenly into your first and second check each month. For example, if you were BAH was $3000 per month you would get an additional $1500 per check.

Air Force here but I gotta question. If I go active duty as a E3 married, and my husband has to stay back home in Miami, how would that work? If they send me off to let’s say Wisconsin would I live in the dorms? My husband has to stay in Miami for a least a year. He’d be be back home working stuck with rent so I’m a bit confused on how BAH would work. Thanks!

The app is a great tool. It’s convenient and always with you BUT I wouldn’t use that as my only one. Definitely search KZitem and invest in the book. It’s maybe $20, if that. Hope that helps
