Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth these past months. I’ve been struggling a lot with my mental health and it got to a bad point. Sometimes it just gets to be too much and hard to put a face on for the camera so needed to take some time for myself and find a new happiness and figure myself out. Kinda cliché to say but everything is just so much brighter now. I haven’t been this Happy in so long I forgot what it felt like. It’s not easy to reach out and talk about mental health but it is so worth it. Luckily I was able to reach out to close friends of mine and they helped me through it. Please make an effort if you’re ever in a dark spot in life. You are never a burden, you are worth a lot in someone heart even if it doesn’t feel like it in the moment. ❤️ Thank you all! More videos to come and a whole new Zach that I’m excited about 🤙🏼 Love you all!

I agree with this group. That a $50k boat. Don’t under estimate your time you have in the boat. You should be paying yourself a fair amount for the time and effort you have in it. Love the boat man! Thanks for keeping us entertained.

Reiterating what everyone's saying, practically new and entirely one-of-a-kind, $50k is a legitimate starting point. Especially knowing prices recently! The buyer can also watch its construction from start to finish, qualming any worries they may have about quality.

$40K for this boat compared to others out there. Well, worth and very fair. He forgot to mention the trailer and upgrades on it. Look at other trailers in comparison. Personally, I would have set the price higher. Great video and well done build. 1st time on this channel. Found due to searching rebuild boats. ReBuilding a 91 Larson fish and ski with 3 liter inboard. Making just a family boat out of it and removing fishing deck. Found some great information and websites for this build here. Thanks for sharing it all.

You are under selling your worth man. Im aful at doing that to myself as well. We are our own worst critic. You are talented and creative. You shocked me when you said how much you want for your pontoon boat. I was honestly thinking between $55,000 for what you built would be more then fair but you could get an assessment done on it. It's nice to see a video from you. Congratulations on all your hard work. Whoever buys your boat is going to have years of fun with it.

So when you think about it you worked all that hard work for $250 pertax a week or "$1000" a month with tools, supplies, knowledge, hurt body... that's a really nice boat for a low price. I'm sure if will sell super fast with that kind of low pricing. Hopefully on your next build you can make some walking money and have enough to eat too.

We can tell from your videos that you put a lot of pride in your rebuilds and your videos. That sort of passion (from my experience) requires one to be very critical of yourself, eventually never accepting less than 110% in everything you do. Eventually all that energy and self examination will wear you down. You were right to step away for a bit and find your new emotional center.

Hey Zach how you doing? I and my dad bought a Premier tritoon, top of the line when it comes to luxury. Bennington has good looking boats but they put more into the body of the boat than any bar. I think you're the only one who actually has a fireplace on a boat, I've never seen an awesome round table / bar like your's. Good luck seeing that boat of yours if you haven't already.

Great looking work. A warranty would help you get a full retail market price. With even a limited warranty, local services only, you could get $50k. Having documented the work so extensively will also give buyers more confidence in what they’re getting. You might want to talk to some specialty/custom manufacturers, like cars or choppers (Orange County Choppers), to see how they approach the sales and build confidence in their products.

As a person who buys and resells stuff all the time, The general rule I go by is start your price high. Everyone wants to throw and offer and feel like they got a deal from you. I would start at $60k and take around $50k minimum. All custom work with a very nice upper deck with all the bells and whistles. Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay regardless of market. You wont find a new boat as nice as yours. It literally is brand new regardless of year of title or engine. Just my 2 cents. Yes I understand youtube will kick back some money to you but get the most you can for time and effort.

Zach, I have started my own pontoon rebuild and have incorporated a lot of what you have shown on your videos. One of the things I was curious about, and I apologize if you left the links in a previous video, where did you purchase the hydraulic steering and throttle controls for this build? The prices you mentioned are a lot lower than what I've seen on the web. Do you like the quality of these items? I am hoping to have my rebuild completed for summer of 2023 and this info would greatly increase the chances of me getting it done by then. I sent this to you in and email if you'd rather respond that way. On a side note, I live in Indiana and I visited PontoonStuff's headquarters. They obviously had heard of you and loved the props you give them. They were very helpful as I purchased a lot of the electrical items I needed. I wish I was as confident as you when it comes to actually wiring it all up. First time for everything. I'm sure I'll figure it out. Thanks in advance for your time in getting me this information. Keep up the good work and the great videos.

The boat is really nice but it still has an older cheaper motor. Thats gonna hurt the value a lot. Room and reliability and seating is key. I think you could have skipped all the lighting radio and bars firepit and upper deck and got 20k out of it. Maybe had 15 in it. A lot of work or 5k though. Maybe Im off. You should just buy a sewing machine and redoo the seats yourself. Way cheaper. A lot of lake people dont like the upper decks because they cant go under most bridges. Also the trex may sag without support every 12" in the hot sun. I can see your just trying to get your money back as the build is just for content and shows what you can do, which is a lot. I can beleive how nice new railing looks and for only 2500 that seems like the best upgrade and the new flooring. Center toon pretty exspensive too. I wonder it you could use a used one from a larger boat or make a 4 toon LOL>
