ok bassically this is like accurate if u want to live like the same life u would normally do if u had slightly alittle more than a decent amount of money. if u want a meal to survive? probably abt 2-3 dollars tops with just free service water If u want a big meal probably yeah i guess his prices are right. ok next up groceries they depend on how many u and ur family are but if its just u then Probably at most probably less than 20 dollars as all u probably need is water some quick to eat food that is not too expensive. okayy for transportation if u plan to live here like from another country i guess u would be going to place to place but that would only be abt 2 dollars to get a 1hr trip on a jeepny or probably even less but the thing is i dont think u would travel alot in the philippines if u were to stay here like just pick a good spot and you’ll be paying a dollar a day or so for transportation but this man is talking about taxi and busses and yes i can agree his prices are very right for those we mostly use those for very long trips and they are for people who actually have money to pay. About the work wages Avarege Filipino's usually earn about 300 dollars which is more thane enough to pay for the necessary stuff. By mid-range restaurant, does that mean something like Manam? Because otherwise the price doesn’t make sense

Living in the Philippines is expensive if you compute your expenses relative to a minimum wage. Of course if you are a foreigner just visiting the Philippines for a short time, you'd think it's cheap here because your earnings converted to PHP is so much higher. I get paid at least 4x more than minimum wage but I assure you that I can definitely feel how expensive it is to live here even when I'm working from home. I'm still living with my parents so if I were to rent out a house and pay for my own utilities expenses then it would even be more expensive. How much more for those minimum wage earners who commute to work, have their own family ro to feed and children to send to school? It's definitely not cheap.

A thousand dollars a month will! It’s about 54,000 pesos a month! Even if you spend say, a thousand a day, you’ll still hahave 20K left! Got it?

Cost of living is 30k for a single person. Not 600 pesos per day. Or 15k a month
