Not everyone has a bad experience building in Ghana. I an in UK and my building project is being managed by a Ghanaian my house is being built by Ghanian tradesmen and I have no problems at all. Some of the most honest and reliable people I have ever met. Please do some interviews of people who have had a good experience. It will help others to know who to contact to avoid mistakes. There are honest and dishonest people everywhere. As the saying goes it takes all sorts.

Frankly speaking, that house would cost three times the price they would have spent if they were to sell it or buy it, especially in that area. I can assure you that house would cost about $300, 000 to 450000, ( 280, 000 Euro to 420, 000 euro) in that area.

It's definitely cheaper to build your your home in GH. The issue is the dishonesty and the hassle of building especially if you're not there. Kudos to the ladies.
@obaaAkos02
2 жыл бұрын
@Thabian Ray That also an option but most people diasporas want custom build. I personal find the homes already built too expensive, they look like homes in the projects (row homes) in the states, no outdoor space (why do GH concrete the front?), barely any trees (I don't get why they cut the trees down), Inventors are know for cutting corners even use poor quality material so they can make big profit, the rooms are too small. You get where I'm going with this.

@Vanett Phillips that is what i was about to ask, because i know in South Africa the start with sanitation pave-roads than you can build your house.Specifically big houses like this all services are been put first before you build,if you build house on dusty roads like this probably it will depreciate.Thats why everything is done structural again with houses like this there should be a mall or shopping complex near by,which will include parks schools in the neighborhood.Im not judging

Mistakes aside (they lost some money), the investment will turn out OK.🎉🎉🎉 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 If you're planning to rent it out, what's the point of buying land and designing according to your ideal?😂😂😂. People with some money and wishing to invest in real estate, though still not living in Ghana long term, just buy turnkey 🔥🔥🔥. Be present, check out everything touching on laws of ownership, etc, pull out check.🔥🔥🔥
