Thank you & keep it up. Can another budget wise option be for a family : live in a small town in the bayern country side and work remotely for an IT company in Munich ?

Sure. I know many people who do like that. They save at least 500 - 1000 monthly on renting expenses.

Good content. I agree that for the average family, it works like that. Of course, everything depends on your consumption level.

@@GermanInsider fr I think 70k+ NET is pretty convenient for a family of 2 people. Ofc as the original commentator said it depends on needs, but this salary should be enough to cover crucial ones and a good number of unnecessary things.

It is enough if you don't save money. I think that for family of 2, both should be able to save from 1000 euro (2k together) every month. I'm an immigrant, I came to Germany too late to be able to get a good pension. So there's no other way how you can feel yourself more or less safe but to save significant amount of money every months. I guess that's why many people consider 10 000 monthly as "too much". And I often hear reaction like "Dude, you've really gotten full of yourself'.

@@GermanInsider1.5k EUR is an average pension in Germany. You have at least twice higher salary than average German, so you are entitled 3k euro - 30% because of coming late but still it's around 2k euro monthly. Isn't it enough or my calculation is wrong?
