I`m 22 weeks pregnant and weigh 130lbs. That is 59kg so 1.5 grams per kg is 88grams of protein. Thank you for the info. I typically don`t track my food and macros but I do during pregnancy. I am a nurse and typicall eat fairy healthy but during pregnancy it is a motivation for me to eat as healthy as possible. I eliminated sugar from my diet 5 years ago and I only have simple carbs occasionally but during pregnancy not at all. I eat fruit and veggies, meat and dairy. prepregnancy I was 124 and now 131. I feel like that`s alot.

It is important to consider that wheatgrass powder is made from raw ingredients that have been in contact with soil, so there is a chance of bacterial infection. With this risk, it is best to consume nutrients through a healthy diet :)

Currently there is limited evidence relating to POF/POI and supplement use. Early research suggests that women who have POF/POI are usually deficient in vitamin D and E. Should Zinc and Folic Acid be avoided during and after pregnancy? Those are to be consumed Only before pregnancy by both man and woman? Btw, when having sex, do a man has to make sure he put deep inside vagina to conceive during ovulation period?

It is important for most women to continue folic acid supplementation through out pregnancy and ensure zinc levels are within normal levels. It is also important for the male to have adequate folate and zinc levels during conception and supplementation may be needed to benefit sperm health. The ovulation window is the best time to conceive and as long as semen enters the vagina, there is a chance of becoming pregnant.

This is terrible advice and does NOT line up with the most current research! Please educate yourselves from more reliable sources! I highly recommended the book Real Food For Pregnancy, by Lily Nichols. You can also find ALOT of interviews with her here on youtube. She is a registered dietician and diabetic educator for pregnant woman and also an expert researcher on the subject.
