Thanks for your comment. And yes, a tuning procedure is a good idea for one of coming videos. I think, I need to set up a section in the community blog just for this antenna as soon as I am back from my hiking trip.

Thanks! This was not more than I wanted to know. It was exactly how much I wanted to know. Nice explanation

Thank you so much for this video! I'm still waiting for the tuning procedure video on this antenna. Until then I have to get a new calibration standard for my VNA... or make my own. Either way I look forward to future videos! Have you set up a discord server?

I wrote this before looking at the video you linked above. Thanks for putting out a PCB version. I will test this out shortly! 🙂 Another excellent video! I will be building the 2.4 GHz antenna configuration before the end of the year in a PCB variant. Given the skin effect, at this frequency, the 35um copper trace shouldn't suffer from excess resistance and the trace can be made a little wider to compensate for the surface area difference of pi x D for the wire and 2 x D for the trace. I will allow the feed point to be modifiable in the original set of boards to allow optimization. I am hoping that this configuration will have less degradation due to nearby structures, and your videos give me reason for hope in this area. I was wondering if you have named this antenna configuration? Feel free to do so. Otherwise it will be the unmessed antenna, and people will think I have a strange sense of humor!

I love to read that you want to build this antenna. I think, you are the first to create a PCB Version. About the naming: It would be great if you could somehow give a link to the "electronics unmessed" channel. Good luck building the antenna!
