Haha I can relate. I raise 100% organic, soy free, supplemented kelp and alfalfa. It's like pulling teeth to get $5.

I have a small egg operation which started in 2020 I sell all colors of eggs at 2.50 a dozen I don't make profit but I do save other people money and it's a great hobby and I put everything I can into my flock I'm super excited because it's chick season I've already hatched 40 chicks and still have more to hatch you can't beat raising and nurturing your own chicken flock.

@@Slowsteading thanks I just watched your video on quitting homesteading and I don't blame you it is a fine line of give and take with farming it's not easy it's not cheap and it's unforgiving but to the ones that bashed you over it just shows people only support people that like what they like but just so you know their are people out there willing to support anything your doing and if not it's irrelevant. I'm a firm believer in the pursuit of happiness that's why my name is that, God speed in no matter what direction or hobby or lifestyle you choose with a good work ethic and attitude and life work balance anyone can accomplish anything big or small.

Keeping chickens is really expensive if you do it correctly, but you can make a profit. I sell mine for 4$/12 5$/18 and I don't make a profit because I consider it more of a hobby

Yeah because it’s 7 dollars… you have to make it at least 2 between 2.50 for a carton of eggs.
