She was dealt a hand that nobody should have to deal with. Especially so young.

That is so rough. I feel bad for her all. She knows her whole adult life is cancer. I pray she has a better future. She deserves a break and health❤

Renee, you are a heroine to me because you are willing to share your horrible health crisis with all of us. I have a manageable version of leukemia and got it at age 85. I survived 10 years of lymphoma and suddenly leukemia reared its ugly head! Am taking Imbruvica which was probably not available when you suffered your horror! It is a miraculous medication, but with leukemia you just don't know. I am keeping my fingers crossed! God bless you, Renee!

Please post more about and focus more on symptoms no matter how small or big, and focus on how doctors reacted. I'm a victim of medical gaslighting, my doctor waited 9 days to call me back and tell me what I already knew to tell me I have a "liver disease" but we argued back and forth because she wanted to leave it there at that without doing any other imaging (they had only done an upper right/half quadrant ultrasound by this time) and I had taken a year of spreading acute and chronic pain. She wanted to leave me with a "you have liver disease at 28 with a 1 year old but besides that everything else is mostly reassuring" with no follow up... But did ask if I had cancer in my family, my grandma died from leukemia, and we have breast cancer on both sides among a new lymphoma diagnosis in the family. Now after a CT scan, I'm waiting for a follow up with her "colleague" God it's sure nice too be an undesirable patient, because now just in-between this two months I have a mass in-between my breasts like a unicorn 🦄 ugh 😩 I'm so tired of explaining over and over again and they act like we enjoy new symptoms... YES Doc I love coming here to talk about undesirable things. FTS and FC

My daughter, at 25, suddenly developed some complications and after a plethora of tests, was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anaemia. She is an only child, so doesn't have a chance of stem cell transplant. She had been treated with immunosuppressant therapy. After a rollercoaster journey, her blood parameters reached an optimal level. About a month back, doctors started tapering off her immunosuppressant. We have to see how she responds. I totally understand the trauma, mental and physical. My daughter was just settling with her job and had a lot of ambition when she was diagnosed with a rare deadly disease. I dread for her every moment of my waking hours and that's a lot. At her age, she wants to do so much, but the universe has got a different plan .
