Look man, you and your dog were literally being protected by a guardian angel that night. The odds were stacked against you, a nascar driver has a better chance of living from a head on collision than you did rolling over in that truck. God kept you alive and unharmed that night for a sole purpose and that was to make this video and to spread the word to not drink and drive. It happens everyday and you were luckier then a lottery ticket winner. Keep praying to the skys man, who knows when it will pay off for you again.

Justice was definitely not served. I’m glad to hear you and Gunner are okay. Finding him by a church was not luck but more of a sign. You truly were blessed that night and we are all here for you!

This hit close to home brotha. 92 , lifted 85 toyota show truck , triple roll bars. Got off edge of paved road and when we pulled back on the right rear was spinning much faster than the truck. It launched the truck up on 2 wheels. Looked over at my passenger who had no seat belt on. Yelled put your seat belt on NOW! . I drove nearly 1/8th mile on 2 wheels and set it back down safely or so I thought. Suddenly the right rear blew off the bead and instantly we turned sideways at 55mph. 8 hard barrel rolls . Barely a scratch but we survived. Sadly tradgedy hit me much earlier though March 04, 1988 changing my life forever. My family and I were hit head on by guy on meth on I-10 westbound. Mother killed instantly, sister died but was resuscitated, father ejected nearly died and I was battered and bruised. Never know what life throws at ya .Glad you are ok my friend . Much love & respect. 😎👊🏼

Wow. Just finished watching this video. I’m glad you came out of this ok. Very glad your dog is ok. I definitely felt a few tears coming down my cheek hearing this heartfelt story. Can’t believe that guy only got probation, granted he at least did the right thing by manning up and plead guilty. Prayers for the family of his passenger who died from the accident. 🙏🏾 I never drank in my life and I’ll continue to stay away from alcohol but after hearing your story I’m going to be EXTRA careful and alert when it comes to intersections going forward because one never knows, plus sometimes I have my 5 year old daughter in the truck with me. Again thank you for sharing your story and God bless you man.

That's classic PTSD. Get some counseling, it helps. Trust me. Glad you're ok man and Gunnar also. I'm retired FDNY and have been in counseling on and off for 17 years. Don't be afraid to seek help. It's why people are there doing that for a living. Good luck man.

Agreed! My husband is a first responder as well and they have therapies for helping with trauma that both he and I have benefitted from.

this is my first time seeing one of your videos. i know i am late but i am so glad you and your dog are okay! i think that this story needs to be shared to every person in the world to open their eyes on how important it is to be a responsible human being. i also agree with some of the comments i saw saying u should share this to high school students as they are becoming less and less responsible with their actions... this could really open up the eyes of those who choose to listen. God bless you and your family (including gunner), all the first responders, and our military! you are truly an inspiration to me and you are such a great guy.

That drunk driver should've got a worse punishment than that. Here in Texas, he would've gotten 5 to 10 years in jail. Hopefully he won't kill anybody else. God was with you and gunner that night and he kept you two safe.

Just spotted this video after watching a plethora of your other vids. Brother, I'm glad you and your boy are alive and well. Thanks for sharing your story, so many people drink and drive and really never stop to see or hear the consequences of what could happen. Great content in your other builds, always upbeat and smiling. Love your slogan, WORKFORIT! That breaks down to a physical and mental aspect as you well know. Thank you again! Godspeed.

I'm glad your still here and Gunner is still here and doing well. ! What your feeling about intersections is PTSD , a very Tramadic life event triggers that. God bless you, Brother, !
