This make was a disaster! Watch me make every mistake in the book while I attempt to create a wearable mockup of an 18th century Italian gown using Scroop’s Angelica Gown pattern. You’ll be yelling at the screen each time I do something stupid, like you’d yell at someone going down into the basement in a horror flick! If you want to make an Italian gown, or are going to be participating in the #angelicathon , this might be a good video for you to watch-so that you know what NOT to do! 🤣😳
Luckily, this is only a wearable mockup, and not my final gown. All in all, though, I’m happy with the way it turned out, and I’m excited to wear this gorgeous, late-18th century gown to events.

This Italian gown was made for the Angelica-Thon, a You-Tube collaboration that is also a sew-along! If you’d like to see the entire playlist, you can find it here: • The Angelica-Thon!
I’ll also be linking to each creator’s channels as their gowns get finished. Make sure you check them all out!
