In the latest episode of GitHub’s “Coding Accessibility” video series, we meet Michael “Mick” Curran and Jamie Teh, the creators of the open-source NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) screen reader. We also meet members of a community of blind and low-vision developers, musicians, and audio engineers who use NVDA and OSARA, a project also created by Teh for accessing the audio engineering software REAPER to create music. Both NVDA and OSARA provide access to information, employment, community, and more, and empower a new generation to build a more accessible world.
