nerv is the biggest thing. once you loose a few matches you loose it and it its hard to get back. Watching the senior snooker they the older legends were a nervous wreck. Except jimmy

At the age of 65 and 217 days, Fred Davis remains the oldest player to win a match at the Crucible. He is also the oldest man to make a century at the Sheffield showpiece.

Ronnie was a boozer and let himself go when he was a teenager, early 20s. But then focussed on physical health and fitness in twilight years. Whereas hendry was like a machine in early years, but then started hitting the red wines and cigars as he got older. That’s why hendry won everything in his 20s and now Ronnie is cleaning up in 40s

I would say your spot on about the class of 92' as Mark Williams has said many times that he will continue to play even if he fall down the ranking after the Mrs influence. Surprised you did not mention Ding Junhui or Stephen Maguire, Mark Allen, Stuart Bingham major ranking event winners yet under achievers as too Ali Carter respectively as professional icons of Snooker.

Neil missed a few tournaments due to getting married and his duty as a Dad and Husband should always go toward family, it's not a weakness at all as he has the perfect balance. 4 major tournaments won is incredible for any player even if it were in their entire lifetime.

It looks like Selby is cracking but the new wave players are not looking dominant at all so I think the players at the level of Selby can win another world championship. I think Robertson, Selby and Trump have the mentality to last the 2 weeks it takes to get to the final of the world championship and to go on and win it. I can't see Ronnie winning another tournament unless he keeps this fitness thing up and balaces out the amount of games he plays for the season. Ronnie only needs to play in the major tournaments and treat them like a vacation and can win his 8th title. I also think John Higgins has another world title in him and I hope he gets one but he's lost so many finals there which must be due to poor focus levels. Hendry is carrying to much weight and I can always rememer him being so slender in his prime, fit and mentally strong. Before he retired he looked over wight, he did lose his cue which he had for years also. I think this messed him up mentally and it's clear his concentratikon had gone at 43 so he retired. JImmy's problem for me was his ego, he would rather take on a difficult shot than play a safety in order to please the crowd which cost him a lot of titles including a couple of world titles. Jimmy was not well eduated which tells me he was not mentally strong where as Ronnie got help with that and is not mentally stronger and able to cope with his weaknesses. I think if Barry Hearn got hold of Jimmy early and kept him from Higgins, Jimmy would have at least 4 to 5 world championships by now. Jimmy looks to me as an easily influenced person who can be led astray by the wrong people. Sean Murphy suprises me, one of the best cue actions I've ever seen and has only one world title. I think if Sean lost some weight he'd start winning tournaments too. Most of the players on the circut are baffled as to why Sean hasn't won more titles. Sorry lol, I tidn't realize that I wrote to much
