This may sound like a "Nerd" moment, but hear me out... The original text is "is that a motherf*cking JOJO reference!" keep note that there is no apostrophe and "s" meaning it is saying that something is referencing JOJO but when adding an apostrophe and "s" to it, it becomes a whole new meaning. Becoming "is that a motherf*cking JOJO's reference" and when being read now pertains to that thing is being referenced by JOJO. So in the end, Everything did not referenced JOJO, JOJO referenced everything. Q.E.D.

The most direct use of the theme of family is shown by each villain, Dio ending the life of Jonathan's father and his own forcing a mother to become a zombie and eat her own baby and ruining the lives of his sons shown by the backstories of Versus, and Giorino, Kars killed his own race completely, Kira leaving families without any way to find out what happened to their loved one's and ruining the life of Hayato, Diavolo, killed his adopted father and birth mother for no reason, and tried to end the life of his own daughter, mirroring Risotto Nero who after his cousin was killed by a drunk driver waited until their sentence was over and ended his cousin's killer, Pucci, stealing his own brother's memory disk and leading to his sister's death and killing the mother of Emporio, Valentine, used the last gift given to him by his father to make a false promise to Johnny. The fight between between vamp Dio and Jonathan is arguably one of the most important fights as during that fight we see Jonathan show off traits that appear in later Joestars, the creativity shown by both Joseph and Josuke, the anger aa shared by Jotaro, the willingness to what ever must be done shown by Giorino, and the willingness to sacrifice their life as shown by Jolyne. Both the actions of Diavolo and Kira are somewhat similar as both act in the shadows and have others doing their dirty work, Diavolo never attacks one member of la squarda besides Risotto having Bruno's team dealing with them instead ending with two teams with a shared goal in fighting rather than joining together, and we see how Kira is one of the few "major" to not use the stand arrow having his father using the arrow instead and his use of the stray cat bubbles. Both Risotto and Giorino seem to have taken opposite paths in their lives, while Giorino had a terrible life he ultimately had a lifeline in the member of the mafia he helped while Risotto upon losing his cousin had no one turn to leading him to end the killer's life even after they had been in prison leading to Risotto joining the mafia. We also see how Diavolo's actions mirror that of what Roman emperor Nero was believed to have done including killing members of his family and watching each of their empires burn around them the Passion being Diavolo's empire, Diavolo's main rival is that of Risotto Nero, having his last name be a refence to that emperor is another way to compare both Risotto and Diavolo besides their views on family. Two very interesting moments of JJBA both come from the Risotto v Doppio fight as we see Doppio throw the scalpels at where he believes Risotto is only to have been fooled by Metallica in Risotto's foot, but those throw scalpels, are what ultimately alert Aerosmith to the presence of another person, it's never shown weather or not Doppio just got lucky where the scalpels were throw to or if show how he knew those scalpels would alert Aerosmith, we also see right that once Risotto reveals he is about to fire Aerosmith Diavolo is surprised meaning that he did not see what Risotto was planning to with Epitaph, had Risotto fired instead of taunting Diavolo victory would have been his. The SBR also ends January 19th the day before a new president would be inaugurated, showing more connections to America. In SBR it's strange how the only people confirmed to have seen Jesus are Johnny and Blackmore, most likely because both end people who romantically wanted Lucy, becoming the person to wield the power of Jesus' corpse, as Johnny killed Valentine and Blackmore ended the life of Mountain Tim, Blackmore also has own folly when he decides to take the spine for himself leading to him being shot and only surviving until the rain ends allowing him to cheat death for a time going against fate. Notice how the closest Valentine becomes to being defeated prior to Act 4 is on a train against a Diego being an Englishmen, calling to both the USA's transcontinental railroad and the war American fought against England to create itself. With Pucci, Anasui is a very interesting character to compare as while Pucci commits many sins for the Heaven plan, Anasui wants to get married to Jolyne to be cleansed on the sins of his past while Pucci wants his actions to remained buried as shown by Underworld returning Weather the memories of his past and what Pucci did to him. Another use of the theme of family and of different influences is the differences between Diego, Johnny and Valentine's experiences with their fathers in part 7, with Johnny his father is still in the picture but despises him for what he believe he did to his brother, still Johnny is moral upon the lose of his legs and still is willing to be a good person, Valentine's father was killed leaving him without his father to teach him what true patriotism is leading to Valentine developing a corrupted view of the world and believe that to succeed in life other must fail showing that Johnny who still had has father though he hated him, ended up better than Valentine who was loved by his father, showed by his final secret being a piece of paper with his son's birthday written on it, with Diego we see how upon his birth his father despised him, once Diego lost his mother the only person who truly cared for him in the world he began to see the society at large as negative, leading to his want for power and money that is shown during part 7.

It makes me wonder how intentionally or unintentionally Araki is drawing from some deeper spiritual truths to create a masterpiece that we fundamentally and subconsciously understand to reflect a deeper reality. Always loved diving deeper into the subject of Quantum Mechanics too. The unified field of energy that connects each one of us. Anyway keep doing what you are doing! Really enjoyed!

8:43 quantum field theory if often misunderstood outside of high academia, and that’s because most of us lack the context that the researchers who use quantum field theory have. In truth, photons have to be quantized particles, and just because they travel in ‘waves’ doesn’t make them not particles. Think of photons like water droplets and light like the ocean. Water molecules move in waves, but they are particles. We don’t really know what medium these waves are on, but they are there nonetheless. It is because of these waves that we are able to perceive light. The reason you’ve been taught that quantum fields are made up of waves of energy rather than particles is because the particles these waves are made of are too small to see with the fundamental limits of our measurement so it is more EFFICIENT to describe these particles as waves instead because the waves we actually CAN see. But keep in mind, this doesn’t actually mean that light is magical and transforms from little waves to little balls whenever we look at it and it certainly doesn’t mean that we can affect the state of quantum fields with telekinesis or some other mystical explanation. That’s simply doing too much work to find a simple answer. While it is true that the energy we emit can have some impact on quantum fields, just like the trash we throw out can have an impact on the environment, we shoot little “beams” of photons from our eyes to see things that can actually energize quantum fields in the direction we’re looking, however, literally any interaction of light with other particles will affect their quantum fields, so it’s likely the sun has far more of an impact on these fields than we do with our brains. Now some of you might be disappointed that your weird esoteric worldview isn’t quite consistent with modern science, but don’t be discouraged because this has little to no implication on the existence of free will. We know that the quantized base particles of our world are inherently random, and that they jump in and out of existence from the vacuum of the universe in very small amounts, just so long as the net energy is 0, so it makes sense to conclude that the universe is INHERENTLY random, and further because there is a limit to the size of a particle we can accurately know the state of, it’s inherently CHAOTIC tendencies combine with its random tendencies to make it literally random on macroscopic scales. This doesn’t explain why the universe is so organized or the apparent fine tuning, but it does justify the existence of free will.

Funny enough jojo shaped my concept of fate. Seeing it as gravity and gravity pull has improved my perception of myself and reality. Sure I still have low moments I don’t think I’ll ever not have low moments. But grasping this understanding of fate has made me feel better about myself and got me through them in some way. And yes I said the same thing in 2 different ways I don’t care

This was a very well made video and a great theory for the show. The only issue I would bring up is WHO created the pentagram? Why was it written out so much? Why is it used so much in occult practices? These are the things that cause me to believe that there is far more going on than most people realize. Seek truth and you will find it. Keep up the great work!

22:05 What the hell are you talking about? So the alternative to knowing your own fate and accepting it - the basis of the heaven plan - is to just go with the flow and accept "the will of the universe"? What the hell is the difference then??? I don't understand the few people who think the main lesson to learn from JoJo is to accept fate and your place in the cosmos, that the emphasis on nature and the flow of the universe means that you just have to accept balance and the "natural" status quo and fight those who "oppose it." It totally undermines the rebellious themes and style and the personality of the characters. No, neither Dio, Kira or Pucci are "challenging the balance of the universe," in fact they are usually led to think by the flow of events that fate is "on their side." Tooru's ENTIRE thing is that you supposedly cannot fight him because his power comes from a natural law. It is the independent nature of the characters AS WELL their understanding of nature and the environment that allows them to claim victory. Araki literally describes Johnny as a character that FIGHTS nature but also LEARNS from nature (read the author's note on the final bunko volume of Part 6). I'd argue balance IS a theme on JoJo, but to read Part 7 and how Gyro learns to both understand and defy his father's metaphor of the tennis net and THINK that you just have to "go with the flow" and NOT fighting for beliefs (as long as they have a basis) is ASTONISHING to me. It is great that you want to give a deeper layer to this great manga, and you made a great video, it's just that I cannot help but struggle to understand some of the takeaways some people have from the series.

Nah man lemme try and explain it a little better. The joestars are only considered rebels because they don’t comply with societal norms. They have hearts of gold, which is truly the only thing that matters. People get all worried about societal norms or doing what parents or friends or jobs expect of them, when they need to just be their true and honest selves, and trust that everything is gonna be okay. That’s the way to a strong spirit - not caring what others think. And it kinda goes hand in hand with the series irl, because liking jojo can get you some weird looks, but we don’t care cus we know it’s PEAK

@seafreak2237 I did, and didn't like it. The main character trope of being an idiot just bothers me. And while there are a bunch of characters with decent development, by the time I got to season two I ended up watching another anime. To be fair, this was when I was just starting to check out anime and I was experimenting with shows, but One Piece just might not be it for me. And then sometimes it's too goofy for me to enjoy. There's really a multitude of reasons, but maybe one day I'll try it again. I doubt I'll like it though. Don't take me as some kind of hypocrite.
@seafreak2237
3 ай бұрын
Well maybe just don’t assume one piece fans aren’t watching JoJo. If you have a hard time with goofy idk how you watch JoJo then. Kakyion literally goes “lick lick lick lick lick lick” while eating candy like an actual psychopath and Kira was taking severed hands on dates while the main cast fought a dood living in a phone tower. I won’t go so far as to call you a hypocrite, but the “one piece is to weird and goofy to get into” while confessing to enjoying what is literally described as a “bizarre adventure” seems like a weird hill to die on is all I’m saying.
