By noticing the person whose life I am creating, then noticing the person I am now, and then feeling into us, both, the next step towards becoming the person I mean to be, holding the tension that wants to steer me towards the old habit, and loving ALL of the past versions of me that reached for that habit become more easeful.
When we shift out of habits, because we are solving a problem, the problem of us, what is always going to happen is a tension that snaps us back to our "problem"
When you create a tension that pulls you towards the person, you mean to be, the times, you notice yourself drifting towards a past habit doesn't end up being a point of self sabotage, self loathing, or starting at square one.
There is no wagon. There's only you, creating the life, you love, and the person you mean to be in that life.
