After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, luxury car brands officially withdrew from Russia. It looked as if a billion-dollar market had been destroyed and the so-called Russian elite was doomed to enjoy only the remnants of their lives of luxury. But that turned out not to be the case.
In the third year of the full-scale war, we can safely say that the latest models of the world's most expensive brands of car continue to be delivered to Russia. And you can see dozens of new Rolls-Royces worth over a million dollars each, hundreds of Bentleys, Lamborghinis and of course Maybachs, on the roads of Moscow today.
Russian billionaires now have to pay extra for "logistical inconveniences", but the Kremlin oligarchs can easily afford to do that amid the sanctions and restrictions. And even Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, who is directly involved in the invasion of Ukraine and other crimes on our sovereign territory, has been able to upgrade his fleet with the most expensive German-made cars.
All the details are in our latest investigation.
