In the book "Dragon Slayer" Wren says that the dragons speak in roars so the correct way to say it would be something like "Rawr". Edit: I did not think this comment would be the most liked, thank you all.

That’s very interesting, although I’ve always pronounced it “Pie-ree-uh” and the author pronounces it that way, so that’s what I’ll keep doing. I always try to stick to the author’s pronunciation because they’re the one that created the world. For one example, in Keeper of the Lost Cities, there’s a character named “Ruy” and I always pronounced his name the same way that you would say the words “guy” and “buy” and most of my friends pronounced it “Roy” (like “toy”). However, the author pronounces it “Roo-ee” and so that’s the way that I gradually started pronouncing it since that’s how the author says it and I like things to be as book-accurate as they can be. :)
@meloncollieyt

Line an 8-inch square metal pan with foil and grease only the bottom of the foil. In a large mixing bowl combine melted butter, sugar and vanilla with a wooden spoon until well blended. Add eggs and beat well with spoon until creamy. In a small bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, beating gently until well mixed. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until brownies appear set and begin to pull away from the sides. Remove from the oven and cool the brownies completely in pan on wire rack. My first thought was that it was pronounced in a similar manner as king Pyrrhus of Epirus, and being a history nut that's probably unlikely to change. Also, on a side note, Pyrrhus was considered one of the greatest generals of antiquity, gaining victories against Romans, Greeks, and Carthaginians alike... Only to get killed in Argos by a peasant throwing a roof tile. Remind you of a certain gifted dragon?
