Rufai the basket. Despite the blunders at the 1994 AFCON, Nigeria still carried him to the 1998 World Cup, where his errors were finally exposed. With a better goalkeeper, Nigeria would have excelled at both 1994 and 1998 World cups.

If not for the Sani Abacha nonsense and drama, this Nigerian team would have won the 1996 AFCON, and the 1998 AFCON. They would have done a tripple like Egypt did in 2006, 2008 and 2010.
