Hi! so i’m 17, and i’m currently looking into buying a 2005 honda element with 180k miles. do you think this is worth it in the long run?
@ReadySetElement
2 жыл бұрын
@@abbycarpenter4892 First of all great choice. Definitely, people buy elements with well over 200k miles. One of my friends brought his second element recently and it had 190k it was a 05 also. He paid around 6k for it.

I have a 2006 ex-p element, 2 wheel drive with 146k, had it for only a few months but so far so good, there is a lot of road noise mine is at 68 decibel at 70 mph, I am going to be adding sound deadening to help with the road noise since I’ll be driving it out on the highway but other than that it’s been a pretty good vehicle so far.
@povnelson2019

Good idea with the noise deadening. 👍 Yeah I’m a big Honda Element Fan. There so unique, Honda reliability, and a vehicle built like a tank lol. It’s called the Element for a reason 😂. Congratulations n you’re purchase 🎉🎈 thanks for watching 🙏

My element gets up to the speed u achieve in under 3k of acceleration. Yes it’s def not a fast car still but imo I think it has adequate acceleration. Something is wrong with the engine of that element. Maybe clogged cat or something but mine gets up to speed with traffic no problems. And that’s with heavy 235/70/16 tires lmao. Great versatile car with 164k running like new

Hey :) Just bought this exact model last week. Same color and all. In mint condition like this one. Looks new. Mine has 187K miles. Wondering what you used to polish the exterior gray plastic molding. Whole thing looks great. You did an outstanding job. Did you sell it? How much? Thanks.

@BCE-111

@@wizardsavage.9436 Yeah it's great. But it does need a few things fixed and I'm looking for the right mechanic. The one I went to originally for the initial checkup charged too much for what he did and didn't do, and his estimates were too high. I'd do some of the work myself but I park on the street and don't have anywhere to work on it. Do you own an Element?

There is only one 4wd system on the Elements and it's a passive system that sends about 25% of available power to the rear wheels when front wheel slippage is detected.

How was the 'rough ride road' for comfort? We talkin Kia Soul stiffness or Lexus RX350 smoothness?
@povnelson2019
2 жыл бұрын
Hummm 🤔that is a thought question. I can say easily not Lexus smooth. And I’ve driven Kia Soul before and that’s not it ether…. The seats are great and the element feels big on the inside bc you have a lot of space. You don’t feel like you’re in a square or little car/suv. Rugged is the best way to describe it. Like it can confidently handle any terrain. I hope this helps let me know what you think 😂
