So a wealthy guy with very very wealthy friends meets an unemployed, in debt guy with no knowledge of and no experience in real estate. Then he chooses to share the profits of his investments with this guy and his friends choose to risk their money with this guy???? Well... you sir must have the "gift of the gab" - something which is very useful indeed and often the primary tool of con men - in my experience

I don't think this video is meant to provide a step by step of how to buy properties (look at the others for that) what this video is doing is demonstrating how you can structure a business or group and have multiple income streams and JVs. It's bigger picture stuff...

I feel sorry for the people you take money from, as you made your money from being a con artist. You chose to “coach” rather than actually live, breathe and become excellent (“do”) the thing you made your money from (property). You chose to teach rather than do because you couldn’t cut it as a developer. The reason your KZitem channel struggles is for that reason - there’s no real substance behind what you do, and you can’t police it like you do other platforms. As I say, fair enough you’ve made your money, but everything you do at its core is either a fabrication of others (mini T.Robbins) or simply smoke & mirrors. There is no originality. Sorry to be so harsh, but it’s quite true.

Such a great value, Thanks Rob, for a detailed explanation, At start working for Free for Acorn must have been difficult but that became the foundation of learning the basic skills to source and separate the best deals. Save money from Sourcing to invest in JVs, that's where was a breakthrough, can see the whole track to success and being Multi-Millionaire.

Hi Rob, I just looked at your video and scrolled down through the comments expecting to see some positive feedback and possibly genuine questions about the steps you have taken. My god, I was shocked by the negativity and rudeness of comments, it seems the trolling network is alive and well. Anyway I enjoyed the video and good luck to you.

What can be missed on comments is that the trolls with that mentality are unlikely to be enjoying the lifestyle Rob and Mark enjoy through the wealth theyve created by providing accommodation (landlords) and training others to do the same. Unless these guys are also buying Ferraris, they you are not in this league. It takes a spirit of generosity to share what works.It is irrelevant whether people enjoy the presentation or like these guys, they dont need permission, they are doing it already. For that, Rob and Mark you have my respect. I have read your books. Keep it coming!

John Dempsey - after reading a lot of his books, listening to his presentations, and basically stalking him (and other successful property investors) it comes across that perhaps it starts with sourcing deals/helping to build other people's portfolios and then once you have a bit of money and the network around you it then moves onto JVing with those investors. I think you'll find that behind his story of success it wasn't all easy and he didn't acquire 350 properties overnight. NoMoneyDown can absolutely be done too!
@Jjjony1

In one of his books he explains it. Mark gave him the money basically. When they were working in Acorn they started planning their own company and eventually left to found Progressive. They used Mark's savings for the first 10-15 properties and then went on to borrow from their mum's Mark's stepdad and the wheel started spinning. Rob says he doesn't know how much money Mark had in savings and says he never asked, but they were sufficient for 15-20 deposits I think.
@Poleeze1

John Dempsey it’s not all of a sudden. If you understand that you can be involved in real estate without having money or owning property, that’s all you need really. I haven’t started myself but i can see the possibilities

That Range Rover is on Finance according to hpi check. As is your new one. Why do have finance on a car if you are a multimillionaire?
@RobMoore
7 жыл бұрын
The RR is on finance as it costs less to own over the duration. You don't get wealthy owning cars. Rates are low too, so it works out best. If it were cheaper to buy, I'd buy. I own an Atom outright because that doesn't work on finance and costs less to own just buying it. Same with my GTR. The Ferrari 458 is better on finance, as is the Rs^ I got for my fiancée (less than £600/month for an £81k car). So it's all about the specific car really. I bought a F30 outright a few years ago, it wasn't the best leverage of cash. Hope this helps.

@ Michael - Food and clothes are depreciating items, I don't think it is wise to lease them. Maybe I'm not worth my salt as I don't put my weekly shop on a credit card. I like to pay and own things that I can afford. Borrowing money for assets can be smart, borrowing money for liabilities, I'm not so sure.
@cshiner7919

Rob, I completely get you on this point and I don't get why people are trying to knock you or your hard work. I do have questions though. How did you go from -£50K to buying properties straight away, was it that Marks friends were just ready to take a calculated risk with you both to leverage their time so that you make more money for them? I am in no way being nasty, I am just confused. I am 25 years old, I walked out of a high paying sales job in the city in Feb to start my own business and it is moving slowly but my mum told me to read your 'Life leverage' book, which I am now reading (It is brilliant! shows me many ways I have cut corners in life and people think I am just lazy) but I want to replicate what you have achieved, how can I actually do it, if it was mainly down to you meeting the right person at the right time and then working your arse off? Please email me on here (or ask for my personal account if needed) as I would love to know more! Thank you so much!
